I wish we could have helped preventing your loss. I think someone right in your area are building is watching to take bikes. 2 bikes in 2 yearsnot good. Let's hoep that the 3rd is the charm...

Sorry to hear about your loss.  I'm a firm believer in cutting off the hands of those who steal.  Public cainings would be good too.  Sometimes the 3rd world countries have the right idea.

What was the color and VIN?  Time to start keeping an eye on ebay.  Any parts start showing up in your area and we should have a Busa rally in front of the poop bags house.

I, too, feel your pain~ Couldn't imagine, and don't want to know, what I would do if some punk azz biotch stole my bike~ Take my wife, but leave my bike!!

I keep mine in my garage and still keep it locked down... along with my Akita standing guard and my Walther sittin beside my bed~ Forkin thieves...

I have two Akita's watching over my Busa while it is parked in the Garage. I have an alarm with pager when I'm away from the house.

Even with an alarm I never leave my bike out of eyesight, but I did it today for the very first time while attending a festive downtown. I parked it on the street and left it for about five hours. There were cops everywhere because of the festival, but I still worried about it the entire time.

It was still there when I returned, thank god.

I had mine stolen last September in an appt complex too, but the popo recovered the bike 3 days after.
I was insured. Lucky for me $6500 damage, only plastics.
