C, mon, This isn't a patty cake, patty cake website.
This website is where we learn and talk about Suzuki Hayabusas.

I think some of us have to start acting our age.

REALLY! REALLY! If Lamb had to wait for people to call him to go riding, he would ride alone. Life is just like that. Lamb met Gary Sinise a few weeks ago when he was in town for a rock show. He is the base player for a band called "the lieutenant Dan band". Now trust Lamb when he says that Gary Sinise wanted nothing more than to meet Lamb:rofl:. We could have cared less, becaus e Lamb wanted to meet Gary Sinise. Guess what happened. You guessed it, a conversation that was uncomfortably long for ME as Gary wouldn'T shut-up! A great guy, and way more open then it would inititially appear. Just an example to use as you wish as you continue about your lives flailing at trying to keep up with the pace of your own ego!
OUT!

LAMB!

A good friend of mine who happens to be a good friend of yours once told me you can't get along with everyone nor make all happy.
Too many friends here for you to let some you don't get along with or agree with chase you away .
Afghanistan and back and your letting little things ruin it for you .
Don't sweat it .
Take a deep breath soldier , ruck up and move on .

+1. Carlos, Don't know exacly what you are accomplishing by leaving other than avoiding the "drama". No one likes drama but whether you like it or not, we all have somekind of drama. Because of the friendships that you have made here and the insight that you provide to the org will negatively affect more people than you probably imagined. There's no need to go brother. As we military folks like to say " don't sweat the BS"...

I've met captain and spoke with him at the track. Nothin special about him. He just loves to ride with fellow busa owner. BUT mainly he loves to ride. to me it was more interesting to meet uncle steve. He made me fall in love with my busa over again, the way he handles the busa on a track. dont b upset he dident talk to u. there is plenty of time to meet again

This is about the stupidest complaint I think I have ever seen here. Are you for real?

Captain, just give this guy a kiss already.:poke:

Cool site BTW. If I learned anything, is that u own this place. Been on here for 3 years and didnt know till now!:cheerleader:

Lifes too short, man up!!

I really dis-like these good-bye threads, but Ces't la Vie

Thanks for the contact info .

If I could only ever get my butt out to Southern California.

wow never really thought a forum could carry so much weight. this is like watching my 12 yr old daughter and her friends argue on msn, my 2 cents. and 5 minutes I'll never get back.

Approaching life as if there is no tomorrow.
Living for today and feeling no sorrow.
Holding on to memories that are in the past.
Driving in the fast lane of life, moving too fast.

Reaching out for a comforting hand.
Finding out that today I must become a man.
Looking at all the things that we went through.
Knowing in my heart that no one will ever replace you.

Approaching tomorrow as if I was glad it came.
Remembering my life will never be the same.
Trying to hold onto to a love that did not last.
Driving in the fast lane of life, moving too fast.

Wishing I had never gotten into the game.
Holding my head down as the Judge called my name.
Looking at how our lives have changed.
Knowing it’s too late for things to be re-arranged.

Reaching out for something that isn’t there.
Longing for someone to show they care.
Approaching my second chance with a changed heart.
Realizing that God has given me a new start.

Driving in the fast lane of life, moving too fast.
Moving over to the right to let the faster traffic pass.

So, you whined in one thread, and then you started another one to whine again? Is there a cheese 'smile'?

You are digging you own hole and it's getting deeper ever minute. If that's your intent, please stop wasting the board space.

Good to meet ya..i have learned alot...but something about this place that i dont agree with specially excuses..which have happened for a while here and have been the cause for a bunch of good people, really good people to leave..I welcome everyone here no matter who or what event you ride with..

760-695-7066
colon.carlos@yahoo.com

You are always welcome in my house no matter what or who you are....

If your in socal..im there...

Peace out fellow Busa riders...its been a blast:thumbsup:

No time for Drama

So what you are basically saying is that Doug is the only one that really matters on this board and the rest that you made friends with from afar are chopped liver?

Personally, the only way I would leave is if I was banned. I have made more than my share of friends on here and I wouldn't want to give that up because I had a different view than someone else. This board is one of the ways I stay in contact with so many and I would not give it up willing.

I vote to delete this thread and forget it ever happened.

I don't understand. - I distinctly recall Drama saying that he's a Harley man, not a "rice rocket" rider.:poke:

Not sure what is going on here since I am new again to the site but I assumed it was for people that had a love for motocycles in general and in this area the Hayabusa. I have belonged to sites generally based on what I ride, the worse being the HD site, one of the best being this site.
It seems like a whole lot of drama due to a percieved snub?
I for one appriciate the work that has gone into the maintence and creation of this site but I never attribute it to one person and certainly due not put one person on a pedistal nor elevated status, just a person that has worked hard, no offense Captain. But they are still only men or a man, just like the rest.
Now if Dale Walker snubbed me I might be offended but it would not be something that would effect me more than an hour.
Great site by the way and I have learned alot about a very excellent motorcycle, and that is the bottom line...the bike itself

WTF. Drama and hurt feelings. People get way to wrapped up in their on-line personas.

'Jimmy wouldn't talk to me so I'm giving you all the silent treatment and throwing a temper tantrum."

You let rank feelings make your decisions for you, you're a lost cause. Suck it up. Life has its bumps. Quitters piss me off & generally suck as riding partners.

This is about the stupidest complaint I think I have ever seen here. Are you for real?

And THIS is why you rock John. Always straight to the point.

Carlos..I don't know you, so I won't begin to judge. I will say this...by publicly saying goodbye in this manner and continuing to argue your point with Doug you are causing the drama you wish to avoid. Just drop it and walk away if that's what you want to do.

Just my 2 cents.
