well went back to the track

nah you know when i was going down i wasnt even scared like i was used to it or some shid. i didnt want to stretch it casue i ride twisties. i actually have an appointment with some tomorrow. I was so worried about how to have the gas i didnt ask enough about working the clutch. i realize what i was doing. i would come out of the clutch imediatly and then give it gas to hell which would casue a wheelie or severe burnout. a wise man once said A crash is just a crash unless you learn something from it.

Ok i just made that up but hopefully it will catch on and trhen i can start makin T shirts or some shid.

Glad too your are Ok---I am going to a track day on Monday--road circuit--smooth and fast i hope.
Pic's commeth later i hope. Busa's got so much torque--------careful careful....I am 54 soon---
Ride within your means--I better listen to those words too--Danger Danger Will Robinson.

okay, so now you have a track bike. stretch it....

----------
OR-
you have track-0-phobia.... that means never go back again.

with that said, I suggest you stretch it  and put on a shinko. Then, you wont worrry about wheelying, and you'll look kooler when you wreck.

?
Dayummmmmmm, I am sorry to hear this happened again, glad you are ok and thats what is most important. Get an adjustable swingarm, stretched for the dragstrip and shorten it for the twisties, just need to swop chains all the time.
But a long arm is not that bad in the twisties it still gets it done.

this was more a traction issue than an arm issue. A longer arm moulding have helped one bit this time. As for giving up....after i get into the 9s

nah i had the burnout thing down on the first two runs doing i was doing rolling burnouts to the line to be safe. i think i may have had to much air in my tire and i really didint do a long burnout on the last run. my tires had all kind of slick shid on them when i was looking over my bike for damage and im not sure what it was. i had the same shid on my jacket....looks like oil but theres no tellin

Sounds like you should have lifted, see, and people think there  is no skill involved in drag racing.

Sounds like you should have lifted, see,
What do you mean by that.

Yeah im finding out the hard way just how much skill it takes
"lifted" "peddled" got off the gas, spinning always is a problem even if you dont loose it. When you spin, your trap speed will almost always be up, but at the same time, you ET suffers. Some people like a little spin, as long as it is controlled, but for the most part, it cost you at the track especially when racing someone who is on top of their game and is hookin up.

yeah i just not gonna try and worry about spinin next time out im gonna focus on workin the clutch

From what I was told, it looked like you pinned the throttle when it started to fishtail. If you had let out of it, it would have been saved.

Still sucks. Lessons shouldn't be that expensive. At least yours runs, though:blush:

, i was on the gas and stayed on hoping it woudl straghten up. i did let out and thats when it decided to let me off

Your description of the damages on your bike sound pretty minor considering what happened. It could have been a lot worse. It's especially lucky that it didn't land on you. Glad you are ok. My bike started to go sideways on me when the tire started spinning at my last time at the track. It scared me into letting off the throttle just a tiny bit and it stopped spinning. I was lucky. From what I have heard, if you let off the throttle quickly, it will hook-up and snap back and cause a high side.
