What are good mod's for a turbo Busa

Frank from Powerhouse is doing it all.. im getting the RCC ultra kit the wheels are CARROZZERIA PERFORMANCE WHEELS. Gold.. Gonna Run pump gas keep it streetable till I go to the track.. dump some C16 and let it eat.

My next question is what color brake lines should I get ? Blue and Gold 08 Busa. open to ideas

You may want to ask those questions... ;)

You couldn't pay me to run a SHINKO... :banghead:

I run a shinko, never had a problem. My friends run shinko with good results. I agree the pilot powers are a better tire, I'm just saying I have no problem with shinko.

To many failures for me and anything past a 1/4-mile you are asking for problems IMO. NEVER....NEVER....run one for top speed runs... :banghead:

Idk? but there are several name brand tires out there that always get glowing reviews from riders and shinko is not 1 of them. Some swear by them and others swear about them  I'd trust a tire that has a consistent reputation at 200+mph IMO

Actually most riders that have used Shinko do have good reviews about them. 9 times out of 10, the ones that say they don't like Shinko are people that have never even used them and their just repeating something they heard from a friend that heard from a friend that heard it this one time from his buddy's cousin...I've been riding for 20 years and have used pretty much every brand at one time or another and Shinko is one of the best drag racing tires you can get period, that's why you can go to any drag strip in the country and most of the fast guys (grudge, outlaw, serious e.t./bracket) are running Shinko tires on the back. I'm sure LSR is a different story though and I know nothing about it, never even been to an LSR track.

ive ran both tires that are being recommended but only ran the shinkos with my turbo(only pushing 200rwhp) setup that i have now and from the races ive done(2nd gear roll) i gotta say i dont have a complaint about the shinko but i will say i havent run the powers with a turbo setup.

so thats my story lol

Shinko's are a harder compound so they last longer on the street and are great for drag since pretty much anything will grab when it's been burned-out and (of course) are cheaper. They are not as grippy in the turns as the softer and more expensive compound tires, but last time I checked drag-strips have very few corners.

Outside of that, my suggestion is: Supercharger.

Yes Shinkos are well known and used on the drag strips there is no argument there. However the original "?" Was referring to them being used for a LSR........ not in a 1/4 mile:whistle:
