I bought an extra set and am polishing the originals.
Front rim is done(50 hrs!!???),rear rim is calling me.
Nice having a set of tires/rims ready to go.Plus your chain,sprockets etc. get half the wear time put on them, when alternating back and forth.
There is the initial cost of course,but took my time and aquired brake discs,sprocket etc. pretty cheaply.
Mine are mounted in the trailer with rotors ready to mount. They have been used several times by org members needing to borrow them to get their busa home from one of our meets, due to a spill or other problems.
