What Did You Do To Your Busa, Today?

Yesterday, I replaced the coolant tank and added new shorty levers. Still waiting on the brake lever to come in so I can install that.

I was in need of a new rear tire. I ordered a set of BT016 pros from chaparral and a cheap bead breaker/tire changer and some tire irons of eBay.!! After scratching the s..t out of my rear wheel trying to get the new tire on, I gave up and went ahead and ordered a NO MAR classic tire changer which arrived this past Thursday. Just in time for me to put my tire on and do some riding on my weekend off!!!! It took 30 mins. To assemble the changer and around 5 minutes to put the new tire on.!! I love both the changer and my new tire ( I still had the original BT015 with almost 4000 miles on it). Put close to 250miles on the bike this weekend.!!

Coolant swap to Purple Ice and distilled water, new 190/55 battle axe rear tire, and Shogun frame sliders are in process.

After that it's time to pull fuses for lights, tape it up, and hit track day at Mid-Ohio!!!!!!

powder coated a 2nd seat of wheels white...i will be putting them on soon...

If you don't mind me asking. What type of wheels did you get? Weight reduction or just cosmetic? How much did they run you?
I want to buy a pair for weight reduction.

Any suggestions? Open to all org members

Well......I bought the bike a month ago, and only put 37 miles on it and couldn't even feel my right hand. I have a pinched nerve in my neck, and have been in Physical Therapy 3 times a week. I also found out that I have Corpal Tunnel and will have surgery this Friday.
Well, since i'll be down awhile, I decided to do a couple of mods, and since it was such a hi mileage bike, a tune up is in order.
The day I got it.

I thought you said tune up? Looks more like rebuilding from scratch!

Cut 6" out my pipe.

I like the shorties. How does it sound? Would you mind posting a shot of the full side of the bike? Thanks!

I installed my 3BR Tapp Lite adapter this morning and wiped her down. She is not happy with me... after that the backpack and I took the BMW out for a ride.

Put a filter on the Crank case vent and tried some seafoam in the tank to clear and clean out the pump and injectors

It's been a month since I've had my bike. So I celebrated her return by riding over to Myrtle Beach for Bike Week. About 9 hours total in the saddle and she passed all my testing to and from

Sounds a lot better to me. Gave her a lil bit higher note without just being obnoxious.

Here's the pic you asked for.
