The quality of this filter outstanding! Of course I can’t account for the “flow” but I bet I’m pretty sure this thing “slipped” off of a BMC air filter assembly line in China LOL.

As @Bumblebee stated, if they can save a few Pennies, they’ll go out of their way to do it. I bet rubber stems cost them $.25 and angled aluminum ones $.40 so, they go with rubber to save $.30 (for the pair) per bike. lol

Very likely. I don't blame them. Those pennies/motorcycle add up in profits. I mean, who's not going to buy a particular motorcycle because it doesn't have angled valve stems?
