Today was a fun day.
Went riding with my dad (Harley Rider).
He rides pretty hard, it was a fun time.
We went through a series of turns similar to some dragon twisties but only about 2 miles long.
About an hour later we were driving and there was this beautiful straightaway about a mile long, didn't downshift, just got on it passed him and hit 150mph.
Then close to my parents house my mother was driving past and I wheelied from 25 feet before I passed her to 25 feet after I passed her, then pulled into their driveway.
Best part?
I didn't get yelled at for either of them.
Finally seeing the perks of being 27
We had absolutely amazing weather here today: 17C and partly sunny which is almost unheard of for November 9 in this part of the country. Took the Beast for a 250 km ride to a very popular twisty area and the ride was fantastic with very little traffic and clear roads!
did about 380 miles on Friday, 180 miles on Sat. with Macon454 and busaprincess454, about 150 miles on Sunday riding with them again, and a little over 400 miles today...it was a pretty good weekend
Rode it to work this morning fog the first half, nice the second half (higher elevation). Rode it home in the dark peering into the darkness looking for horned up psycho bucks on the move. Back to the Strom tomorrow, I'd rather hit a deer with it, sits way taller & it's less expensive.
Looked at it today and wanted to ride it to work but the forcast said rain tommorrow morning. I can deal with the rain but with a temp of 46 degrees, I decided to just drive the durango. Kinda sucks. B-day tomorrow and 100% chance of rain forcasted.
Oh well
Did an oil change, mounted a new set of Pilot Road 2s, and aimed the HIDs. Not much more than a 30 minute ride, but glad to have those things done. Riding to Shreveport next weekend. I'm ready!
Nothing WITH her. Only dreamed of riding her, as she is still in the loving care of HPC getting a bigger set of jugs. Who wouldn't want their baby to get some bigger jugs. Just hope when she's done its warm enough out that I can ride her a l l. T h e w a y home!!! Posted via Mobile Device
Swapped out the street tire with the Shinko rear for the Friday drag races this week.
Clean and lubed the chain after a 20 mile ride around the city and did about 11 short boosted runs. Damm this is a new bike all over again now that she has boost.
I checked em both over when I realized my tank bag hanging on the shop fridge was covered in mold and mildew.. its been a very humid month in Mississippi. But no gross stuff on the bikes..
Then I proceeded to lysoling the heck out of my tank bag.. and a good excuse for a NEW PAIR OF GLOVES!!
