Ok there is a post going on about a guy doing 100 for the first time..I have done this many times, but am still very scared about what could happen. What has everyone done when you saw the cop doing and you were going over 100...

if you were pulled over, how fast were you going, and what were the consequences?

Not really, immediately slow way down and begin prayer

just last sunday took off from a light up to 130 looked back and saw a white car coming on fast, he was behind me a few cars. started getting my lines ready but he just pulled next to me and looked shook his head and drove by. got lucky. he didnt have me on radar or anything so i dont know what he could have done.

if im going over 90, them im going at least 140 and i dont stop. i passed a statie on i 95, over the ct river one time doing about 170 .got off the next exit and had me a dounut and coffee.i dont know if he even tried.THIS BIKE IS THE DEVIL!!!!!!!!

Cruisin on I-75 on the July 4th weekend. I was doing about 120 when I saw 2 troopers running laser. Didn't change my speed, they never looked at me. Got off shortly thereafter though. That was the only time that I have been close to getting busted.

I once got pulled over for riding on wheelie. Turns out the cop was behind me the whole time. I couldn't see him cause my mirrors were facing the ground! He asked if I knew how fast I was going and I said no, he then said 98 mph and I was wheeling for well over a mile. He wound up giving me a lecture and just a warning ticket for improper lane usage cause I changed lanes while wheeling. Before he left he told me it was pretty cool though.

i got nabed for a 96 in a 70 but the missed me doin 130 in a 55

If you're going to run in the triple digits, you better not only know the road, but also the habits of the local leo. I run a stretch of road very early on Saturday mornings that is virtually abandoned of both traffic and (because of cutbacks) leo. I'm lucky to have a friend that keeps me informed of department changes such as where they are flying the airplane and such. Most of the smaller communities won't have leo out early am on the weekends or if they are, they will usually be understaffed and in a fairly specific area. Keep in mind, this also means that if ya go down, it may be a while before anyone gets to you, hazards of the sport. In most areas, ya get caught much over 100, you're going to jail and the bike is going into impound, and your insuance through the roof. I would never endorse running, however, there have been a few times I have met a leo running the twisties at high rates of speed and kept the hammer down. If ya don't see the lights, he ain't chasing you.....yet. Most know it's a lost cause in that type of situation but expect him to give a shout out to anyone in the general direction you were headed. When they got ya, they got ya....got to stop unless you have a desire to be on TV....
