Would not be too sure about using the wire brush....kerosene and a medium wire brush.

Yeah, I got me one of them chain cleaning brushes~ Works pretty good.. especially for getting the backside of the chain~Now that looks like it'll do the job, real good..

Boy you really must plan to saw on that chain if you're worried about getting brisells in deep enough to hurt the Orings.......done it for years.....never a problem...But then again...after the stock chain is gone.
