What is everyone's Professions

Gainfully self (un)employed.  I do 2 things; fix local peoples home/office PC's and do contract software install/upgrades and systems integration for a Work Force Optimization Company and its resellers.  An off shoot of the second got me a contract gig as a resellers Tech Support Department.

(ie - people pay me to ride the Busa to them and play on their computers and networks)

finally got a GS (civil service) position here locally back in Feb as an IT Specialist...test vendor software that the government buys and then tell the vendor what they can do better or what does not work in our environment.

Business manager for an Audi/VW/Kia dealer.  Been in Auto sales management for (oh god!) 25+ yrs.

In May of 1994 I was hired by MR Motorcycles in Asheville, NC as a parts salesman and general hooligan. Motorcycles became a passion and not just a hobby. Life is good.

My greatest hero and major inspiration, my dad, told me "find a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life". Truer words have never been spoken. Life is good.

In 2002, I received a promotion to Assistant Parts Manager. My duties consist of our website for wholesale orders, supervising a full staff of enthusiasts that answer our phones with 3 full time people in our shipping dept, and to maintain customer satisfaction. I am surrounded by what I love! Life is good.

To this day, I am still and will always be a hooligan. Spending many hours riding the mountains of Western North Carolina/North Georgia and of course the Deals Gap area.

To me I work in the greatest profession in the world. I talk to people all over the World about what I enjoy! Have I mentioned, Life is good!

I am a degreed Mechanical Engineer, currently a Consultant Engineer for and Industrial/Commercial Insurance Company.

Journeyman Machinist- I make parts for paper, printing, and packaging industries. We build the ink driers that dry the ink on the pages of Playboy, Penthouse and other mags. We also make parts for tampon packaging machines.

Popo, Cop, Pig, 5-0, LEO, One-Time, Police Officer, Hypocrite, Liberal, etc.etc., all depends on who you ask and what I've done for them recently!

Was a Unix admin for about 8 years. Been working as a Software Engineer doing .Net development for a little over a year now.

I run the maintenance department in Marine Corps aviation units working, where I plan, prioritze and ensure the the department meets its commitments.
Okay, actually, I teach people how to do that because I sucked at doing in the fleet and like they say, "those that can't do, teach".  Right Vincent???

Okay, I don't actually do any of that - I sit around all day drinking Mountain Dew and telling people thier ribbons are all jacked up.

STOP......my abs can't take it anymore.

I am a welder in the Marine Corps. Right now I am a inspector and instuctor for reservist. Basically two days a month 80+ reservist come to work and the Gunner tells me that someone or something is all jacked up. So, i spend my weekend fixing what the Gunner thinks is jacked up. The other 28 or so days a month I surf the net and do color guards.
