I ride with a bunch of guys and one guy is always arranging the rides, and places to stop for lunch. So now spring is on it's way so I email everyone saying "It's time for us to get together for a "bobo" lunch" The second after I hit the send key I think "OMG--that didn't sound the way I meant it" Got a lot of ribbing about that!

Referred to my 1st wife during our wedding vows as " My awful wedded wife" instead of "Lawful wedded wife".....The preacher and wife corrected me...After our 8 yrs of marraige, I figured that I might have been correct to begin with....jk

I quickly apologized and went and hid in the crowd.

Back when I was in High School, I had a part time job at an auto parts store. Basically, I delivered parts to shops and what not. We were constantly pulling jokes on each other. Well, being the new guy, I thought I would be funny. The Manager's wife called and asked for him so I politely said "Is this his wife or his girlfriend?" I had no idea that they had been breaking up and getting back together for the last several months due to his screwing around on her. He picked up the phone and after a heated conversation, he left the store. He came back about 4 hours later and fired me!

Can you say "oops"?

I was looking in the closet for something and happened to find a gift my wife had bought for me. When she gave me the gift she asked if I was surprised. I said I was when I found it in the closet. Now thats not the dumb part. When she asked where she could hide something where I would never look, I told her to put it in the clothes hamper!
