What is the scariest movie of all time?

Nightmare on elm street was scary when I was young.. the first couple. One, two freddy is coming for you...3 ,4 better lock the door.

i think the random violence movies are more "scary" than the horror movies.

the strangers. that movie is wild

the darkness.

quarintine.

the puppet masters movies. those creeped me the heck out when i was lil.

exorcism of emily rose. for the religious creepy.

as a dad of a 14 y/o girl...the tv show "secret life of a teenager" is the scariest!:rulez:

I think ones like "hostel", touristas","wrong turn", and "deliverance" are scarier than so called "monster" movies...anyone out there can be a star and they look normal.

Yeah, my son used to watch that, every once in awhile I would stand in horror and stair at the TV until I couldnt take it anymore then I would have to leave the room

:banghead:

I agree on the Original Salem's Lot; the Omen (original). I am a huge fan of the Ring, but if you liked it, you should check out the Japanese Ringu movies - AWESOME!

I think CandyMan was pretty scary- when i was younger.. havent seen it since i was a kid though. I LOVED The Shining too....

Most of the classics have already been mentioned. Its been a while since I saw a really good one. I was pleasantly surprised with "Darkness Falls". That was kinda creepy. If you like slasher and gore flicks, the Rob Zombie ones are really good. That is one disturbed individual, but then again, I might be since I enjoyed them. The first Remake to Texas Chainsaw was also good. Gonna go see Paranormal Activity on Friday, hoping it will be good.
