You and your wife both need to come to the bash! You and her both will make some lifelong friends I assure you. Mc Mustangs wife will not be riding, and I'm sure there are others she can have a good time with while you go for some rides. The fellowship at night around the fire is something she will enjoy and you guys will start making plans to come back before the bash is over. Here is a pic of MC Mustang and his wife. Nothing scary about this bunch of "bikers", just some great people who you will enjoy spending time with.
Dear Hal & Friends
Well, we can't go to the Bash this year. Becky gave me the go-ahead and I made reservations at the Microtel, but upon checking my calendar, I see that I've already committed to photographing my cousin and her boyfriend for their senior prom on the 26th. I made this commitment about a month ago. I can't bail on them because I was supposed to do shoot cousin's senior pictures and that didn't work out.
Would it be worth riding up there on Sunday morning? We live about 130 miles from Deal's Gap. We could ride up on Saturday night, but I hate riding in the dark. I don't mind riding in a car at night, but riding a bike at night is a little scary to me.
I hate to miss out on this experience. I've asked Becky to come up with a win-win solution to this problem. She's extremely resourceful, but she says she's unable to figure out how we can be up there for the whole Bash.
Crap! I was all excited about going. I ordered the jacket your son suggested, some Maxima Chain Wax, and a CrampBuster at New Enough. I guess I need that stuff regardless of Busa Bash, but the Bash made those discretionary purchases seem all the more legitimate.
I'm pissed off at the moment.
