What would you buy for $1000 - $1500?

It depends. If the 1500 is all you are ever going to spend, the mods would be different than if the 1500 was just the first step in a long list of mods.

Well, Johhny's right!! Do you know how many people have all of this crap done to their bike and still don't even run 9's?? If you are looking to drop track ET's and have a quick accelerating street/strip bike, get a clutch mod, Schnitz triple clamp, McIntosh links for the rear and drop that sucker, maybe a good shifter and a 16 tooth sprocket, and a good tire. These parts alone will get you more ET reduction then a pipe and airbox.

BUT, since I know you and know you're just interested in a good all around bike that you ride everywhere and will probably never see the track and the fact you ride two up a lot, You already have a pipe so get the Mheads box(or mod it yourself, I'll help you)get 2 more long stacks, clutch mod,42 tooth rear sprocket, some good tuning, remove the pair valve and get some of Johnny's block off plates and maybe a PCII or I have a Yosh Box you can use, and of all that you have only spent $500-600 and save the rest for gas and wax :)

Some good lightwieght rims like Marcesini.
(I think I spelled it right)

The wieght reduction to the rear tire will give you almost as much HP gain, to the tire,
plus make the bike more nimble.

An added bonus is that they retain their value better than the other parts.
If you go to sell the bike, put the stockers back on and sell the rims seperately, you'll almost get your money back.

Spend the bucks on tools and hydraulic lift to work on the bike. Makes life a whole lot easier and it will run better because you can easily see what you are working on.
