I think they keep the analog gauges because its a trademark hayabusa thing. The big round dials are something you can see in any video and know its a 'busa, even dudes that don't ride one.
I agree on the QS. MM flash, BT flash both made it slightly better but it was still an issue. Havent had it pop up with the MaxxECU yet but haven't logged too many miles yet.
For people that don't like the heel guards/foot pegs. I still swear by my Vortex rearsets. I know they're $300 but the layout and adjustability made the money worth it. All the issues Io originally had with mine were 100% me being a meathead and not taking my time when I was trying to set up the shift linkage.
