When is it too cold to ride?

Have bike withdrawel symptoms, but it is too cold to enjoy, so what temperatures makes you stop riding?

I put 45. I've ridden to work between 35 and 40 before. Makes it kinda hard to enjoy the ride. I kept thinking about the heated seats in the truck.

The bike doesn't work right and neither do I any lower than that.

I will ride at lower temps, But to truly enjoy myself I like it to be 60 or above.

I put +65. Will go racing if it's 60 and climbing, but out riding it better be 70 or so....

dam... I put 35! I have a good military gear that I wear! BUT with that said. it has to be clear blue skys for me to ride in any temp!

now if the wife wants to go 2up 50plus!

her solo... it has to be shorts and jeans weather for her to ride her own dam bike!

Gear makes the difference 40 up for just 100 miles. I prefer 70 and up

0 degrees C is where I draw the line. Ice and motorcycles do not mix.

35 and clear roads w/o heated anything is my determining factor for whether i leave the house on the bike or not. Take my chance for when i return.

I put 65 ... I have ridden in colder weather but not for recreation just had to go to work...

We got hit with the cold front, that storm that is blazing through the east coast was 72 this morning when I went out side to go to work bbbbrrrrrrrrr sorry for your pain guys hope you get back on your machines soon

30 and up and I'm just fine with a nice stroll....it's usually the dang salt accumulation that I avoid or the layers of ice remaining on the road the curb my urge. Usually around Feb. here the temps start getting back up and the ice isn't as big a factor any more. By March I'm happy as a pig in mud.

Coldest I've ridden around in was 22 degrees in the desert in New Mexico.

Froze my ass off.

Back in the day, it was jeans and long johns.

I agree. The roads are more of an issue than the cold. I do not ride after we get our first snow, because they put TOO much F-N sand down. So my 9 is being waxed and polished as we the winter moves on. It will be March before I get back out.
