lol... this is a dangerous question and worse for those who give 100% positive answers. I know people who use reputable stands who found their bikes on the side upon return from vacations. There is no gaurantee, yet many of us take the risk. best you could do is use a reputable brand, which counts for somewhat of a calculated risk, and you may wish to take measures such as foam bags as one member suggested earlier. What I would do is keep the right side very close to a wall foam badded, and extend the bike stand on the left side. I mean again no gaurantees, but you just may be saved in case of a weak link!
I use vortex swingarm and stands, they work fine for me, and no accidents... yet! (fingers crossed)
