I got mine up to 175mph while racing the Batmobile. Seriously. My SpeedoHealer is pretty close to accurate, but my Vbox under the seat is dead accurate. I've gotten a max speed of 239mph (GPS verified) out of her. And no, it's not a stock Busa.
He is spraying somethingI don't see any boost guage.... u spraying it?
This is an old thread but worth reviving I reckon.
I've seen 290kmh on the speedo once, and that was pretty scary heart racing stuff!
It was on a long lonely road with my mate on his GSXR1100J going backwards in my mirror and all I could think about was 'what if my front or rear tyre blew out???'
I was nervous, not enjoying the experience at all.
Hey great idea, I never thought of that, will give it a go next time I'm on a ride, here in NZ we can only ride for an hour before you start to see the same sheep on the side of the rode, all looking at you with a longing lookNot enjoying!?
Can't you just lean a little and do laps around NZ?
what is done to get the 239... or were u just throwing out some BS?I got mine up to 175mph while racing the Batmobile. Seriously. Same here. Don't feel bad. It all depends on the the time and the place and when the mood strikes you. 160 is about as fast as you can go and still experience the rapid acceleration. It'll go faster but it starts taking lots of time and lots of space to to gain a few mph. That makes me nervous on public roads where you never know who is watching.I have had the bike to about 150-160 tops...
The car was a speck, that's how far it was. We shut down as hard as we could, so hard, the bike was shuddering from front to back and was brand new too. We almost rear ended the car. So going 172mph, the closing rate to another car is warp speed fast. I learned a very valuable life saving lesson that day and at those speeds, the closing rate happens in just a few seconds.

Some of the more lonely plains Indian tribes in America, having been used to buffalo, welcomed the advent of sheep...it eliminated tip toeing.
Yeah, but they are ONLY playing . . . . . . . . . .Playing hard to get are they?
