Lets see Navy here. 13 years so far.
1991 Boot camp San Diego and molder A school
1992-1996 USS Emory S Land AS39 and went TAD to USS Shannadoha AD44 for a med cruise. Norfolk, VA
1997 Went to Equipment Operator A school in Ft leonard Wood. Went from the fleet side to the SEABEE's (no more ships).
1997-1999 NMCB 74. Gulfport, MS.
1999-2002 Eglin AFB, FL
2002-Present NMCB 133 Gulfport, MS

USN 1982 - 1999 USS Nimitz while in HS-9 spent 21st B-day in middle of Atlantic.  Navy got old when they wanted me to go back to sea for my last 5 years.

So...

1999 - 2005 Air National Guard, 129th RQW Moffett Field, CA, the 2005 is my (hopefully) retirement!  Went to the &quot;sandbox&quot; 2x w/ them, Kuwait Sep/Oct 2001 and Iraq/Romania Apr - June 2003

Navy 4 years did 2 West Pacs and a Med Cruise and said fug this shid!!!!! My last paycheck was 465 dollars take home for my 2 weeks of 12 hour days, no Saturdays or Sundays off either. Jet mech on the Midway, Kennedy and Independence. Got out in 91 married an AF girl and now work for the AF as a Civ. AF is by far the best military &quot;comfort wise&quot;
But I did see 14 different Countries while I was in the Nav. I guess you join whatever outfit you want to be a slave to and make the best of it

Acitve Marine for the last 15 years. Was a mechanic on 53's for about 8 years, then made the switch to the dark side. Worked with 46's for a few years, worked powerplants and at the depot, now I are a instructor at the Aircraft Maintenance Officer school....
Never been anwhere, never done anything.

SSgt gonna be E6 soon I hope!
Barksdale, Osan, now at Kadena.
Deployed once, to the UK in 99... ALLIED FORCE. Bombed the $hit outta milosevic with 13 B-52s..
Fun times there, we build hundreds of bombs a day, and the planes came back empty every time.... I feel for the poor bastids on the receiving end of that!

Oh yeah, I am an AMMO troop. Build bombs, test missiles, inspect hand grenades, count bee bees... If it has anything to do with munitions, we do it.

Never really pay attention to the polls forum...lol cant beleive i never saw this until now...

And yeah us AF has it good.... I ain't complaining, definately doing my 20!
