Who Rode Today?

Took the mountain bike today for a 150 miler around a couple of lakes in the southern Sierras. Hadn’t been over the northern road around Huntington Lake. It was a one laner but paved all the way. Was 79 and cool up high but 100 when I got home. Finally remembered to check the temps of my headers when I got home with my heat gun. It’s a good way to see if all four cylinders are similar. They were all around 183 degrees. 
My front tire was 127 and the rear was 139. Inside my tailpipe was 317!

I'm starting to get the feeling that yer just pretending to like me.....just like before. You know I wouldn't mind trying out some of yer museum quality pieces...bit of an' imposition for ya, I know...all you'd get to ride is my turbo. Not fast by any stretch but it is the only mass-produced motorcycle with a pop-up headlight! So that's a win.... to me anyway.

I rode my new bike today, wow, what a machine, oodles of power and will put any Harley to shame, a guy I knew gave it to me (yep, GAVE it free of charge!!) coz it had been his wife's bike, she was over it and preferred to ride on the back of his hog.
The fuel system was clogged up from stale fuel, carbies all gunked up and fuel tank pretty rusty inside.
I stripped and cleaned the carbs in the ultra-sonic and had the fuel tank rust neutralised (hydrochloric acid) and lined with Red Kote to seal it.
Anyway she goes very nicely now, great cruise machine, whatdya thunk??

a couple of grades higher than the American built 'Hawg' as you crudely referred to it . . .
Anyway, I've grown tired of the Hayabusa tedium . .

It was just........OK.
So I'm guessing when I come to visit that yer new Blue Blaster there is the ahhhh "Guest Bike"

Picked up the wife’s new ride today Z400 I put 91 miles on it today bringing it home, Big Shirley was jealous of the lack of attention received today and was a little put off about having to share the garage lol...
