Who Rode Today?

Mother Nature has it in for me..

I went out, took the cover off the bike to ride to an appointment as it's fairly warm out...when I went back to the house, I looked up and saw big, gray, ugly clouds blowing in my direction....

The weather channel said it is supposed to be partly cloudy with a less than 20% chance of rain....more like really cloudy with a 110% chance....

Got out for what I believe will be the last ride of the season...it's 80'f out!!!! Tomorrow's high is supposed to be 39'F...and rain for the next while...I'll keep the 'ol gal ready just in case...

I still find it amazing how smooth and clean this bike rides, it handles like it's on rails and accelerates like it means it. There was a bit of a wind out today and it didn't phase the bike one little bit, it stayed true into the corners and on the straights..I can't imagine me wanting any other bike.

Pictures in order:

-Bumblebee lounging by the beach getting that last tan in....
-having chicken strips for lunch
-a few bugs won't need to wonder where they will be spending winter, and
-the Bumblebee sitting outside it's winter hive...

I went out for a test ride, after major top end surgery on the old 99.
Around 130kms covered at the foot of the mountains, beautiful scenic area so it encourages riding at the speed limit and enjoying the countryside.
No pics today, rode solo, no wing man.
Bike is going great, can’t complain one bit lol.

Yes it's a 800 low . We tried to rescue this baby today dumped on county rd 42 in Rosharn Tx . We went back to town and bought two cans of beef dog food / water
She ate n drank . Nesting just off the road side behind a tree . I spotted her while riding past . Wife was amazed I saw her .

There's a special place in hell for people who would dump a dog like that and a special place in heaven for people like you guys who would stop and help....

I'd like to thank the driver of the black SUV on I-15 freeway Nbound at 6p yesterday for turning on their L blinker, even though they were in the #1 lane. Maybe 100 yds in front of me. It made me pause and cut the throttle.

I was late, so I had to ride faster (had to), and here's this driver signaling they were gonna pull onto the freeway's center median. WTF?? Then the blinker went off. Then it came back on. Then off, then on again. So I backed it down to the posted limit to figure out what was going on up ahead.

And that's when I saw the CHP SUV on the R side of the freeway.

Whoever you are, I owe you a gift card. At least.

I was dog sitting our neighbor's Weimaraner dog yesterday...he sure is a handful but a beautiful dog. Once he gets that nose to work, he gets fixated and intense.

I brought him in the house and he was pretty excited to see the wife who had treats for him.

This dog you are showing pictures of is a good looking dog, sad anyone would do that. Will animal control go out and look after her or would they euthanize her?
