96 miles today, temp was 64 degrees, quite a few bikes out and about today. Very docile ride for me today no warp speeds I don’t think I shifted about 4500-5000 rpm the entire time was watching wifey pretend she was a MotoGP rider going through the curves lol was thinking I need to get some action shots of her.

Sorry, no pics but ...

300 mi today (287) on the ADV; 80 on the Busa yesterday, 80 more tomorrow, traveling to a job site ... I thought I was retired ... but that's what I get for thinking.

The highlight was cutting through the mountains of So Cal as a shortcut (Adelanto to Pasadena), not remembering it was a weekend - and a pleasant one, weather-wise - which meant 2 of those mountain roads (Angeles Crest and Angeles Forest highways) were swarming with weekend riders. Had to hug the R side of the road and hold a hand up while 6, 8, 10 bikes zipped by me - several times. It was packed, not only bikes, but some fairly exotic cages as well (ah, southern California). Everyone going just a bit too fast for a Sunday morning in November. Or maybe I'm just getting old.

If I ever do that again, I promise there will be pics. I'd guess over 50 bikes pulled to the side of the intersection of these 2 roads ... I couldn't believe it cuz I don't get out much. Didn't see a single Hayabusa among them.

Having heart surgery tomorrow morning, went to we Friday with chest pains. She had quadruple bypass in 07 and is now 78yrs old. Will let ya know how things turn out. Thanks for the well wishes.
I wish her all the best and she will be in my thoughts. The good thing is surgery has improved leaps and bounds over what it was in '07

I rode today to Harold's machine shop who is a big time Adventure rider / friend.
He ate the paint off the Tiger. Then went to Tax office to see if dealer had done my plates ,and they were in the system. So for 50 cents got to dump the new plates with out picking them up , and use my old plate of RJ . The 50 cents was for 10/21 sticker replacement. Picked up groceries on way home for spicy chicken soup.

I was trying to figure out what "he ate the paint off the Tiger" was but figured your phone auto-corrected
