Took the Kat out today.

Took day off. Invited to ride with my dealer making a ride video. Walter did not know a 1200 tiger could beat a Speed triple. will see how his video turns out.
Cycle gear in Katy install a wind tunnel to test gear while sitting on a motorcycle!

I take it that it isn't a 1050RS as they are something like 180hp aren't they?

Gotta laugh... my mate has bought 4 new DR 650s , 3 white and 1 black, he’s got a fly fishing adventure tours business where he rents the bikes out and takes the clients out to lakes and rivers for fishing expeditions... guess who’s doing the servicing and repairs?

All this Gen 3 talk inspired me to pull my Gen2 out for a few blasts today. Wasn’t out long did a quick loop and went and topped the tank off. Not many miles but lots of smiles

Yeah, I just haven’t gotten around to it yet.

No riding, driving. My daughter came to visit and wanted to see the snow inside the Park. My usual entrance was closed so we had to drive in thru El Portal. Beautiful sunny weather, no wind and gorgeous scenery with all the rocks in the Merced River having snow caps. Temps were 41-64.

BTW, anyone going in after the 8th will have to have a reservation like they had some months back!

Been a frustrating 3 weeks with my bike out of action....sent my ECU to be flashed locally and NZ Post has lost the bloody thing grrr.
Anyway my good mate let me ride his 1050 Speedy today so I did 402kms , really like this triple motor its fueling is spot on, its power and torque really suits hills.

I put in 10 miles on the KLR. Still a bit chilly but a good ride. Sorry, no pic.

FYI the Tiger 1200 is like the dirt version of the speed triple . real smooth , and powerful .

60 miles to deliver carbs to my brother, and installed them on the zx11D. No bike photos but noticed damaged to my tire. Got a thorn in the outside edge and a fair cut in the center. This was from last weekend off road trip .
