What can I say, purdy ain’t she? And only 42 years old. Mileage was 33,690. Rode it home around 230 miles running 75-85 all freeway minus 30 miles or so and got 34 mpg. Been a long day so here’s my first pic on the way home. Somebody else keeps a pretty clean white bike eh? today.

Got in 162 miles today up to Shaver Lake about 63 miles away. Went from 2,000’ to the Tamarack Ridge at over 7,500’ and man was it COLD & WINDY! Huntington lake was almost frozen over but Shaver in the distance was ok. Some shots I took are the remains of the stick forest left after the huge fire up there recently. Hard to believe but I’ve got almost a thousand miles on it already.

Could be, single sided and all but I’m not familiar. I’ve seen another pic where it showed giant Brembos up front. I’d love to give it a whirl.

Some things yes, some not yet. The weight of it was surprising and I’m losing some strength as I get older (turned 74 a few days ago) plus I believe that having some serious surgeries and going under takes a little something away. The exhaust sound under 6K is kinda buzzy which I don’t recall at all but above 6K it all comes back.

Finally got a minute to try out my new shock today. Quick blast to blow the cobwebs off her.

Got out for a few tacos with my cousin this morning. Even got the opportunity to romp on it from a light. Had to let off the throttle as it was picking up the nose. Doubt the wheel would have left the ground but it was feeling lighter. Here’s a crappy pic.

Had the Busa out yesterday and pretty high in the speedo dept. we won’t go into detail.
Had to cool it a bit today and had the RoadGlide out and just cruised to lunch and back.
