Who Rode Today?

I've be caught in the snow on a streetbike a couple of times, packabale wet snow, and a chore is right, lol, both feet on the ground and the front end floating around.
Sometimes the dirtbikes went well, but more often they did not, it just depended on how wet or dry the snow was.
I used to take my boys out on our dirtbikes in the snow......they'd tell me I was a crazy person on mine....I'd be jumping over snowbanks and doing spinning "crop circles" then hooking the back tire and wheeling out of it....

I had to get rid of that dirt bike because it seemed that rules didn't apply when I was riding it.....I was the same way on my 250 Quad racer....but at least it had 4 wheels....

lol, same here...that's the only way to ride them!

I think Ive found my limit after this mornings ride. Any more like this Ill need some heated gear like @c10 . Although I have heated grips, my fingertips got very cold and my legs were going numb after 20 min.

Gerbings heated gloves, and get a pair with a thermostat, as that really makes a difference.
A heated vest to keep your core warm.
And a Nolan Quiet rider that fits under any full face helmet.
For my legs, cheap thermal leggings, my leathers, and insulated bibs over them.
Insulated socks and my regular bike boots I wear year round.
With my nylon winter Joe Rocket Ballistic jacket, I don't get cold, even into the teens.
I don't need a heated vest as long as the sun is out, and a heated seat would be nice too(those are easy, heating elements and wiring are cheap, remove the cover, a small amount of foam, element in, foam back on top, restaple cover, connect wiring to battery and mount the switch, done).

Yeah, same! My hands freeze before the rest of me. The wind just eats through gloves. It's in the 30's for me this week and then back to 60's next week...I gotta get a car before it drops to the teens again

Thanks. Ill look into the gloves. I have a hoodie and my Carhart jacket so my core is good but a thermal shirt would not hurt, neither would thermal leggins. Im only wearing my jeans with a pair of oversized military pants over them so the legs are toast at this temp. I got good wool socks so the feet are a non issue and I have a 32deg face mask/neck warmer that works great but is a bit bulky with the helmet.

Sorry, not Nolan, but NOJ
These are great for staying warm, and your shield won't fog so long as you have a pinlock.

I have had the delux for about 15 years, and wear a snowmobile balaclava that extends down to my shoulders with it.
My head, face, or neck never get cold.

You know what I use for weather like that?

This.....it even has heated seats and steering wheel.............

If I had that I would too!!!!! Its 35 ish miles one way, with tolls. If I take my truck to work ( lifted 07 F150 on 35s ( 11MPG ) it cost me 100+ dollars a week in fuel plus tolls. Hence, I and freezing my butt off with a cheaper fuel option......lol
I had 4 F-150s in a row before this truck.....

My last F150 was lifted on 37s with steel bumpers front and back and a big 'ol push bar on the front...I had a full exhaust and headers with a tune.....it was thirsty though......if I kept it, I was going to stick a Pro-Charger on it....

When I was in Toronto, people couldn't get out of the way fast enough, it was big and angry sounding......perfect for the city.....

I decided to keep this truck mostly stock and it was a good move.
