Could always put her on 3 wheels and get her a can am or something similar. My wife just can't get comfortable on the busa she used to love the back seat on my srad which wasn't much different but I think the power scares her so she's brought up wanting ti possibly learn to ride. But I think I'll just save up to get a Corbin rear seat with the backrest and try to get her back comfortable cause where i live i just can't trust the cagers and I'm too nervous about her being on 2 wheels. Of course she is half polish so I tell her that makes me even more nervousOnce upon a time, my wife thought she should get a bike...I taught her when I was teaching the bike courses...she and I both agreed she should stick to 4 wheels....
The other day she mentioned riding again- I think time has erased any memories of how scary she was on 2 wheels..
I pretended as to not hear her...
Yeah, thanks but no thanks....next thing one knows, my wife will want to be riding with me....Could always put her on 3 wheels and get her a can am or something similar. My dad had a shop on the East Side E&T Garage on Mt Elliot right across from the cemetary. This was YEARS ago though lol. I visit 1-2 times a year usually for family related stuff, I may be up again in June for my cousin's graduation celebration.Mine too, I was raised in Detroit and the surrounding cities as a kid (moved around ALOT). PS: I was just talking to my Nephew there in the D. I ask him and now you why do the Lions suck year after year? Lol!
Downtown is a whole new place over the last few years, used to be only a select few of its that would go downtown and walk around now it's a happening spot all the time, cleaned up and looking good down there. I remember when the superbowl was here I was downtown drinking at the bars and telling everyone how they weren't seeing the real Detroit because they had opened a bunch of temporary spots for the homeless to get warm and eat so the tourists weren't bothered by them. A few Detroit cops I knew told me how they over packed the jails at that time with a bunch of people they were just holding to keep off the street. Now it looks better then when they were faking it. But if you leave downtown area and go into some of thr neighborhoods that's where u see all the abandoned houses and empty overgrown lots. But you can see downtown's growth slowly spreading out ti those areas, it's just a shame that a lot of those old beautiful houses are torn down to put up new style ones where the whole block has 3 different styles just copied and pasted up and down the street. Is Detroit coming back to life? I saw pictures of it in a documentary and it looked like an A bomb went off there.
