Who Rode Today?

Got in a 190 miler today. Weather was spectacular and 74 degrees! My V1 saved me once too. Again, many thanks to CHP officers running their radar units full time. He must’ve been two miles away and around a big corner. :laugh: Suppose this old house is for rent? My gas gauge started to blink at 142 miles today and I gassed at 187 miles for just a tick under 45 mpg and I was honking it most of the way.:D This Kaw just sips gas! Took on 4.165 gallons and the tank only holds 4.5 gallons.

Can you post up a pic of your luscious lawn after you have mowed and rolled it? Must be a big one to justify owning a ride-on mower WITH 500lb roller!!

I shall but it will be a month or so...I have an acre and cut two lawns for senior ladies who also have an acre each...

I need a heavy lawn roller to flatten down the lawn as we are on clay here and it's a bear to get flat.
 
took a 100mile ride this afternoon,am I crazy for going out when the wind is 19mph gusting to 36?probably......LOL.......my thought was perfect tail wind for a new land speed record,ha,ha.''''''however,,,,,I chickened out @ 182.4 when the gusts starting pushing the Bus around :eek:.....return trip home against the wind sucked big time.
I did manage to put in a can of Wynn's Power Charge in my half full tank before I took off.
It's hard to quantify the effect it had,the wind was a distraction and even though I want to say the engine was more lively than before.... the cooler temp. could have played into that.
I did 64miles on the half tank with the full can of Wynn's before adding more fuel.The high speed run was included in that. .......Also was testing new part:Dbeautifully made and fits perfectly.

Saw a few bikes out yesterday but it wasn't the warmest day...(5'C).

One guy was on an older Honda CB400 rat-rod...he was winding that thing out hard, sounded like he was going 1000mph but was only creeping by...

I was out walking with the wife and even she chuckled a little when he "screamed" by...she said if my bike was being ridden that way, I would have been a blur going by...
 
After work went for a ride to remember a friend who passed Saturday in Arkansas.
Former busa pilot of where2 that was the license plate. Jeff Davis was a great guy .
@dadofthree knows him too .
Rode calm for a bit then a little nudge.
On the 2nd to 3rd gear wheelie shift with the shift light on it felt like someone was on the back smiling and hanging off one side to see.
Going to remember you always brother of two wheels.

Good way to clear your head and remember.....sad thing to lose a friend.
 
Got out again today . 93 degrees F already.
Went to Lowes , and T mobile.
Stopped by a retired friends who still races CMRA . He took RJ for a around the block to feel the wheels. My bud also after loosing his dog Jenny a few years ago adopted this sweet three legged girl . Someone shot her ,and that's why she lost the leg .
