who the heck does shat like this????

I'm not American, but graffiti in general is ugly and invasive. Commemorating those lost in battle, you'd would've thought those no lifers could have at least tagged something not of importance.

Would LOL hard if they had pink painted all over them, and security paint too. That stuff sticks like superglue.

Thinkin outside the box, love it!

Some knowledge, respect and a whole bunch of accountability brought to you by.....

Maybe their parents...

I for one growing was taught some basic respect principals, was held extremely accountable for my actions and punished accordingly by my parents.
This would have never even entered our bird brains as young adults as a good idea. Had it, I'd probably still be scrubbing and performing community service to this day...

Not belittling the act but I think everyone here has done something early in life that made adults say wtf.

My gut reaction is to say....hang em' But Im a parent (and was a semi dirt bag as a kid) so I understand that kids do dumb stuff..even when they have loving and caring parents. I guess my reaction will depend on how old the kid who did this was and how strong of punishment the parents dish out was.

That is so pathetic...

Omar and I were up that way headed to IKEA a couple of weeks ago, and we passed this monument...I'd never seen it before, had no idea it was there. We both commented on how cool it is. It would be nice if they had cameras on it; would love for the idiots that did that to have their faces plastered all over the news for being so disrespectful :banghead:

dang , really, go tag a train or something, who knows it coulda have been an adult also that did it, ya just never know

The problem with un-rule y, disrespectful, out of control kids these days is total disregard for authority from parents, teachers, police, etc. When I was a kid growing up there was no doubt in my mind if I pulled a stunt like that and my parents found out that I would get an ass whoopin that would not be pleasant. May not work on every kid but it sure kept me straight growing up. After just one sampling of my Pa with a belt in his hand convinced me that bad behavior was not in my best interest.

Wait a minute?!?
Nobody is gonna say anything about Vabs admitting she was there and pink paint graffiti?
Hmmmm?

Not aimed at you tuf, but everyone keeps assuming kids. def not tagging. could have been a sixty year old hippy / peace nick .......

and not be able to get their way and play with their iphone and xbox? that is torture that goes against the geneva convention...right? :spank:

I sure hope they pull the security video and the scum bags get 1 year, thats all they will need to learn a lesson in a State Pen General population with a few vietnam vets.

The news should play it off with "Investigators are reviewing the tapes from hidden security cameras and suspects have been indenified"

What get's me is our front gate sentry's are only a hundred yards away and this monument is lighted at night as well, but that's beside the point sometimes they just can't catch everything. on the side note i agree Robert, it might have not been kids, they are so many old pissed off guys and girls that have been seperated from the military too, code pink and all the tree huggers, but still just plain nasty.
