Who's up for a midwest

i vote for lake of the ozarks or branson no camping for me motel only.and branson is only crowded on the major holidays.

OH....and F the campin'......unless someone has a case of beer and a gallon of vodka and the captain!
+1

when a date and place is set, I'd be up for a short trip. I would like to go some place where the entertainment is more than watching the corn-grow, or hanging out in a hot gas-station parking lot scratching my rear.

Branson,Mo does get crowded at times, but on major holidays is the worst time.Eureka Springs,AR is a great place also.My vote would be Eureka Springs,AR or Branson, MO.It will be fun where ever we go.

I go boating at Table Rock lake "Branson" and Beaver lake "Eureka Springs" several weekends every year. Branson is always crowded. There are good roads around there but it has been my experience that you can only enjoy them after 10:00 pm because of traffic. Eureka Springs has good Motorcycle friendly motels and very little traffic in area. both locations are only about an hour apart so if peeps want to check out either spot its good ride.

No particular order just a list! Colorado is out of the running as we held the meet there last year.... (But, have to admit one heck of a place to go riding..)
1. Eureka Springs, Arkansas
2. Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri
3. Davenport, Iowa
4. ? , Illinois
5. ?, Ohio
6. Black Hills, South Dakota
7. Newcastle, Oklahoma
8. Branson, Missouri
9. Kansas City, Ks/Mo
10 Road America, WI

Just from reading all the replies, it seems like Newcastle, Oklahoma and Eureka Springs, Arkansas are what quite a few are leaning towards. Can anybody post up any more information about these two places (or any of the locations) to give people a better idea of what each has to offer? That may help people decide and get ecxited about doing this.

Newcastle, Oklahoma...... Well its home of a very famous shipyard! In fact very few people outside of the Oklahoma area are aware of this. I also chose this location because its home to one of the largest Perigree Falcon breeding sites in the world. Fact is more Perigree Falcon owners can be found through this local site than any other place in the world....... and the best part is its only a modest drive to Eureka Springs! 4.5 hours roughly

Eureka Springs is home to some of the most beautiful roads or sights found anywhere in the middle of the country! Motorcycle friendly, more places to stay than Vegas (not really..), & Very affordable! I've been going here to ride my Busa since I first got her....

I'd prefer center of midwest like Kansas City. Eureka Springs is my 2nd choice but it sounds nice

Im with Sled on this one....Black Hills

Lots of lodging at affordable prices. Lots of things to see, or ride to for a destination.

Some very good riding in the Black Hills....Weather is usually very good, and good food, entertainment.

Would agree... Looks like it'll be another close vote this year on where to host this event!
