I lived in Brasil(com s!) for 5 years. Met a Brazilian in Denver and off I went. Happily married for 17 years now. She's from Natal and it makes for a great escape from the Seattle winter gloom to go there and soak up some equatorial sun. Judging by the Busa shop manual there is a Busa made for Brasil. Must cost a fortune though. While I was living in Rio I once saw a Honda 6. Wild looking machine. They actully make a huge cruiser there called the Amazonas(I think) which has a VW engine. Most bikes there are small though-not many sportbikes. Never been to Curitiba.

As I understand it, there are very many bad, bad things in the duc-cave.

Ladies B-Ware. OHHHHHHHHH WHoooooo!!!!

No seriously.

Wrap tightly your underwear about you. This is my last advice.

Dr. Busa. I'm having problems loading any of the pics on your site. They all come up with just jumbled text when I try to enlarge. Anyone else having this problem?

It worked for me last night. Unfortunately Lady Busa is wearing leathers and a full face helmet. Bummer.

Velociraptor, nice to meet you. Glad to hear that you are happy with a brazilian lady :)
And thanks for the offer dumanic and Mr. Bear... by the way, missing our late night chat Mr...

Serious question. Any guesses on how long it would take to ride to Curritiba? Starting in say Houston Texas. A warm beach is sounding good.

As usual I'm getting off topic. On my own thread no less.

I count 3 ladies vs about 76 active guys.

...there is not a high way or anything that runs through that part of the world , is there? Ive head that the Pan American "High Way " is incomplete in some areas....but actuly Know Nothing...any one hip to travle conditions in ,say, Guat a fuken mala, fer instance?

There's a lot of wrought-iron furniture in the Duc Cave that Ducmanic made himself...and that's all I got to say about that.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm.....HayabusaOwnerFan, you know I have a warm, comfortable seat waiting for you. If you don't come here to claim it, maybe I will have to bring it to you. :)

I was in Mar Del Plata, Argentina in 1988, and saw an FJ-1100 parked on the street with a California plate...tabs were current. Maybe it was ridden there; maybe the rider was a Navy guy who took it on the ship with him. I wanted to ask, but the rider wasn't around. Where there's a will, there's a way.

Hapo, I was in Guatamala City in 1992. I'll tell you what...in some of those places you and your bike could disappear without a trace. I wouldn't do it, especially on any kind of nice bike. Once you got to a place like Mar Del Plata, you would be fine. But to ride overland, you might never reach your destination.

Lyle sorry for getting back to you so late I went to the Pro Start race in Gainesville over the weekend. I have my name on the list for the blue/silver. Sorry I do not like red. Not sexy to me one bit.

tffu. Did you race? How did you do?

So you think red&grey is not sexy. Maybe there will be other ladies who disagree. Hope so, I need all the help I can get.
