Why is it EVERY TIME when somebody sees you on your Busa they have a "TURBO BUSA...AT HOME" ? I can't be the only person that hears this all the time, can I ?

Some guy pulls up to me at the light today, and yells out his truck "nice bike, I got a Turbo one at home....450 horse power"........rrrrrrrrrright :thumbsup:
 
Some people just don't want to be out-done. If you were on a turbo busa, they would say they have a drag bike at home.(or know someone that has one and would love to race) People tell me that they have something faster "at home" all the time. I tell them straight up, "go get it, I'll wait for you right here." Funny thing is, they never come back. :whistle:

I have a guy at work that claims his has ridden a 200 MPH superbike that his parents neighbor owns. I told him to get it, I'll race. He claims the neighbor no longer has it.

When people yell out windows about how fast "theirs" is.....I lean over to their side with my hand to the helmet like I can't quite hear what they're saying.....drives them nuts.....of course they start yelling.... :super:

Yeah, you'll get that. If i had a dime for every person who "has a bike or a car at home that would blow my doors off" or "has a friend who has a car or bike who would blow my doors off" I'd probably never have to work again. The problem always seems to be 1) the person who has it lives too far away to being it out or 2) it's being painted/rebuilt/not insured right now.

I just kinda laugh and tell them that if it isnt here, it isnt beating me.
 
I was thinking you could just tell them you understand cause the bike your on is the wife's and your Turbo 600HP Grudge bike is at home getting the muffler bearings changed for this weekends race. :beerchug:
 
Ahh, the good ole "one-uppers". You think it's bad on a Busa? Try driving a Mustang around.
