Will '09 Busa Address '08 Complaints?

No problems here. My only complaint was that I had trouble shifting into 3rd sometimes when I first got it. But that problem has seem to have went away now thats its broken in.

Oh I can here my cam chain slap when I first crank it up until it warms up. Not sure if thats normal or not, It goes away once its hot.

Only problem my Busa has is my butt hurts from riding it all day. A gel seat will help that. Oh, wish it had higher hand grips, but Heli's will take care of that. uh.....frankly this bike doesn't have any real problems.

The bike is fine, well, that's an understatement. No probs. I don't like the idea of the first year model thing, but I think Zuke covered it for the Gen2 flagship... they had some expereince with the Busa. Plus who the hell could wait! We riders tend to whine over the little things mostly to compare notes, but not to be mistaken for real problems. A real problem would be say....to not have a new Busa! I missed 5'th or 6'th a few times but I think not for the last 500 miles, just hitting 2000 now and breaking in on dino & adjusting to the new ride. I think I understand why they opted to not put the RM125 tranny in it. Do not live in fear... + 1 on the Butt thing the Strom is a bit more comfy in the long haul, but that don't mean I think it needs a trip trunk!

Why wait to buy an 09 or 10. Life is clicking by. By 2010 you may not have enough money to buy gas. LOL

Havn't had one problem with mine, other than when I twist my right wrist, I find myself being thrust forward very rapidly.

Getting back to the problems list.... What a *****, my bike is so damn shiney that I can only wash it with the panties of virgins. Just try to get your hands on them without raising a ruckus.... and another thing, every couple of hundred miles the damn gas tank goes low & I've gotta stop at the pump, wtf? Now I'm using up all my chainsaw gas in the leaf blower drying the bike off cause it spots if I get rain on it. I can't even sweep the garage without putting the Busa out first. And now it looks like I need a damn Abba lift for effin couple hundred bucks. No, wait, I'll drop a couple G's on a new welder and saw make my own.

The answer is yes if the same problem is reported.  I have a family member that works at a dealership and here is the scoop.  Any work being done under warranty they charge back the manufacture, this includes what is considered the fair amount for labor.  If the same problem is turned from allot of other dealers than Suzuki has this in a database and than look to see what is the problem.  It is cheaper to fix the problem than to keep having the dealers replace parts and charge them back.  Now tires...I doubt they change that unless the tires had issues or blow outs.  If for example everyones bike kept jumping out of gear than they would look into it and fix what ever was causing that for the next years.  I bought a 07 Shelby GT500 when it first came out and in 08 they fixed some minor issues I had with the car of course Ford took care of it but I had to go in and make appointments all a pain in the ass dealing with the dealerships.  But like my bike I have been replacing everything else so I am fixing what Ford should have done in the first place.
