Wind Powered LED lights

Put one those giant wind turbine props on the front, that'll light those suckers up.:cheerleader::banana:

For the front use a Path Blazer headlight modulator. For the rear wire up a Back-Off modulator. These setups are legal in almost every state. I have had many WSP cars follow me and not say a word about my flashing tail light.

My 08 had a headlight modulator wired to the low-beam. I also have a Back-Off module wired to the stock LED tail lights (Soon to be relaced with a new setup).

You can ride with your headlight on high during the day in Oklahoma. Not a violation here.
Better to be seen then be planted in a car door.
Modulator is a good way to go until some dumbazz stops in front of you on the Interstate, yes they have done that to me. They confuse a headlight modulator with flashing red and blue lights.
There is no driver education after you get your license, just pay money and renew.
Great system we have.........
Instead the car companies are on a quest to make an idiot proof car. Let's see how that works out.

So I get the feeling that more of you would prefer to ride in stealth than to take steps to be seen more? :poke:
Putting trust in cagers is pretty scary.

The lights arrived today. I'll install them and get pics and a review posted soon. Rainy and cold here today, so it will have to wait a day or two.

Okay, some of the lights I ordered have arrived via "slow boat from China".
Since weather is not permitting me to ride, I put one on and tested it. I think its pretty cool myself. Its what I was looking for. I'm expecting two more that are longer and white.

I'll post more pics and video when weather allows.

If you are concerned about being seen while riding your busa in the dark. Start using fluorescent vest and put some reflective tape on your helmet. Believe me, it helps.

Well, I do have reflective piping on my Jacket, and my helmet does have some cool reflective Kanji's on it. (and a reflective batman logo). I am seriously considering the wind powered helmet light that someone posted on this thread. Truth is, I came up with the idea of helmet lights right after my accident in 04. Should have patented it then. :banghead:
Some might think that these lights I'm writing about are "uncool" but those orange vests are the poster child of uncool. And THAT's pretty uncool coming from a guy that sometimes wears velcro shoes.

Here are few video passes of me riding by showing the lights. They work.
Sorry about the bad camera work. I guess I'm the only one in my family that can run a camera.

I am all for being seen, just not using your highbeam to do so. There are many other ways to draw attention to yourself than that. And more effective methods as well. Using highbeams are DANGERSOUS in my book.

For those that think they aren't that bright in daylight. On a cloudless day at high noon, turn them on and see how long you can sit in front of your bike staring at it.

I agree, it's bright. (sort of the idea). Frankly the Busa's lowbeam is nearly invisible during the day.
