Windshield Rattle ??

I just picked up my new '05 and I've noticed there's ALOT of rattle up by the gauges and windscreen that stops once you put pressure (up or down) on the windscreen. I talked to another guy who also got an '05 and already replaced his screen but it's still rattling.......

I used rubber washers in between thinkin it would help....but it didn't.....WTF is that rattling from ??

Take you some adhesive tape and do the whole bottom of the shield...should fix it..

I bought velcro strips, cut them down, then just used the soft side to stick to the windscreen edge while removed. I slid the screen back into place....was a nice snug fit and no more rattles or vibrations.

I'm going to leave it til I get my new ZG ST windscreen but at least now I know what to do before it drives me apesh*t.

My zero gravity has begun buzzing after 2500+ miles.

Time for some tape.

Electrical tape applied to the locating tabs will fix it. 5 minute job.

+1 on the Electric Tape on the Tabs and about 6-10 wraps on the bottom one to make sure... might have only been 3-6, hell i dont remember use some good scotch super 33+ tho, not the cheapo tape...

2 4" strips of thick electrical taped solved my buzzing. You WILL need it on the ZG screen...

AMEN on the electrical tape. Put it on the front (lower end if you will) of the windscreen. The area where it starts to point to a "V" . Put some on both sides, and you should have no problems after that.

I folded a piece of elecrical tape over the whole thing, works great!

Thanks to all of you guys for the input.

I'm going with the Puig DB screen, I've heard that and the ZG are the best, so once it's delivered I'll be hookin it up proper!!!
