Worst dealer award

Well i had a friend of mine go up there today with cash in hand to pretend to buy one of those skidoo things, went thru getting the guy to set up the thing , drag it outside and then as we had planned i called him up , whille he was at the sales guys desk . He stood up and asked if there had been a problem with someone with a hayabusa today and the guys said yeah some ####### bought a bike elsewhere and blah blah,, so he say that he was my best friend and couldnt do business with someone like you guys.. as hes walking out the guys starts swearing ath im.... he kept walking and called me from his car 3 minuts later laughing his ass off... im still not done with them but at least I had a friend to pull off a good prank for me... these buttheads had the skidoo outside on a trailer gassed up and ready to hitch, he said the looks on thier face was hysterical... wish i could have been there
Thats pretty good.....

Go there when they're closed and super glue all the locks on the doors. Why don't you post their email address so we can send about 50 "you suck" messages a day for a while.

jfksmith - If they treated you with that degree of classless ignorance, imagine how the Jurrasic morons would have serviced your bike. I salute you. You handled it better than my social restraints would have allowed me to. Only fools "grab" bikers!

I think it would be a VERY good idea to post the dealers E-mail. I'd be more than happy to send them an email letting them know that I will let anyone interested in a new bike to steer clear of their dealership.

I read the post on the dealer whose mech did burnouts on his bike and thought what an ass for a dealer. I got one better although wouldnt keep my  bike there for a second. Iwill make a long story short. I made an appt. to get my first service at the local Suzuki dealer,Honda/Suzuki world... ( not the one I bought my bike from) but the closest one to my house. Anyhow I show up for my appt at 9am and when i go to the service desk , they ask for my info, I am very polite , as I try to be on every occasion. The service kid, pretty nice guy, asks for my keys and as I get them out , a little bald guy comes from out in the back and looks at me and asks the service writer where my bike came from. I said it was mine , he says I didnt look familiar, and I stated that i had bought some parts a week earlier with a friend who brought me up there. He asked where i bought my bike and I told him MTR Racing , He literally sighed and gave me the dirtiest look. I asked if there was a problem and he says "yeah you didnt buy your bike from us, why are we fixing it" I told him that when i was looking for my bike they didnt have the one I wanted in stock so I bought it elsewhere. But I planned on using him for all my parts and service needs. Listen to this. THis is a quote, no bullshit... "you bought your bike from those idiots, take it back from those idiots". Now trying to keep a cool head I went to tell him that I would like to use his shop cuz its closer and reitterate the fact that the sales guy told me to try MTR when they didnt have the one I wanted to in stock. Next thing I know the keys come flying across the counter and the service manager says they arent going to service my bike there. Now I am spitting nails at this point. We go back and forth about how I have never been treated so poorly in my entire life and had someone not want my business, I get a " we got enough customers, we dont need mtr customers, so get your bike and take it to them" This is all happening in front of my kids and wife who followed me up there to pick me up while the bike was getting serviced. So now I hit the roof , and grab my registration out of the kids hands ( he was really innocent but had my paperwork) The service manager , who is not a little guy decides to flick the rest of my stuff including my owners manual at me. All the while the owner is standing there blabbering about not needing my money or any business from MTR. ( I dont know what the beef is but i guess I got in the middle)  well my wife and daughter had gone to the bathroom and I started walking my way to the door but there was what looked like a hallway, (one door and you could see out the next) so I tell them you will never get a penny from me or anyone else I can talk to ever. Well this hallway turns out to be the owners office with an in an out door. the service mgr. tells the guy to escort me out of the building and the little bald bastard goes to grab my arm, First I say I still cant believe that you treat people this badly and then Tell him that if he touches me , he will be waking up on the floor. I walk thru the 2nd door and literally slam it behind me and I hear keys and other stuff falling off the back of the door. My wife is just coming out of the bathroom and asks what all the screaming is about, I told her what happened and she  says your kidding, to which the service prick says get you and your f ing kids out of the store before we call someone to get you out...  after a few more expletives, this time on my part, I go out side and start  my bike and after spitting the rest of my tongue that i had to bite so hard in trying not to kill someone in there I drive home... I know alot of youguys arent from rhode island and wont be going to that dealership, but If your ever in the area, please dont go there and tell everyone you know not to go either.. there is more back and forth bantering but it doesnt change the story and would take forever to tell you verbatim everything that was said... Most of you have written me and told me how polite I am, and believe me , I really try not to ruffle any feathers. this was literally the worst experience of my life as far as retail goes.. someone who doesnt want your money and will literally kick you out of their store cuz of where you bought your bike... unfrickenbelievable...
jfk; Can you give us the name of the shop, and do they have a website? Thanks...

Postal.

name of the shop is Honda/Suzuki world and they dont have a website at this point.. If sometime they do have one, I will forward it to all of you for you to help in overwhelming them with bad mail... thanks for everyone support

Those liars, I called them and asked them about a webpage and they said they didnt have one, I found it by accident. it is GOHONDASUZUKIWORLD.COM

I do not understand why any dealer would not want to service a bike. They make their money on service and extras. These guys sound crazy.

Wow. I feel as if it had happened to me.

My local dealer tried to get me to pay $12,800 out the door for my '03 Busa, and after fighting over the price for hours, I walked out and bought it 35 miles away for $1400 cheaper. I took my Busa back to them for the 600 mile service , and no one said a thing. Usually, the service dept and sales are two separate entities. The sales guy still greets me by name everytime I go in and we talk about track days and other things everytime. He even asks if I want to buy a bike from him.

In your situation, I would have laid the guy out if he had touched me, and I would have probably kicked over a bike on the sales floor creating a domino effect just for spite. But that's just me.

I just sent them an e-mail asking what their policy was on servicing bikes not bought there...

Can't wait to see what kind of answer I get from them, if I get one at all...

Did you hear back from them Postal?

Here's the problem I've noticed...long standing business, probably sold something to every family in the area and a good chance that there's some "good old boy" network going on here...they don't give a sh*t that they treated you the way they did, and they won't ever stoop down from their cloud to say "hey, that was wrong", so I fear that all an email or letter, call or dropping by the shop will do is make them more angry. Behind your back, to every person they know, you'll end up being the single pain in the ass that they turned away...

I have walked this road, and even the big wigs in CA for Suzuki don't really do anything about things like this...it's been 7 months since my incident with the local dealership, and all I've heard from others is "hey, are you the girl that got messed around with by Casey Cycle City?" I say "yeah, how'd you hear about that?" and then I don't get much of a response...so, despite any wrongdoing I felt was done to me, bottom line is that the business I went up against is much bigger than I, and all I get in the end is them saying sh*t about me and pegging me for a pain in the ass...

I've thought about getting with Suzuki America in CA again, reminding them of the incident and that they assigned it a "number" and were investigating it, but in the end, you're just one guy/gal, and they don't really have time for stuff like this...

It's sad, but that's just the way it is...

Here's what I would do. Find out how much a full page ad in the local paper costs. If enough members of this board were to contribute 1 or 2 bucks, you could put a huge ad slamming these guys. Hell, I'd be willing to part with a couple of bucks in the name of justice.

Then you could make a bunch of copies, and every once in a while, you could paste it on their windows to warn any new potential customers.

That's where I would start. Good luck!

Thanks for all your support guys, and Michellle, I really do hope they realize that business is made the other way, by being nice. I still cant believe that anyone could be that rude because of a beef they had with another dealership. And I was ready to forgive them, never go back , but forgive them until my son brought it back up about why were they so mean to you daddy. And for that , I find no reason to let them treat me like that in front of the most important people in my life, my son and daughter. All they had to do is say that we service bikes bought here on a priority basis but we can fit you in if there are spots available. and i would have totally understood, but to be outright treated worse than poop, there is no need for that at all especaily in business. They lost at least me as a customer and I willl continue with the help of all you to spread the word of these inconsiderate sugarbritches as long as ii can do it with the help of you , the army known as hayabusa.org... thanks again everyone

Just read this after yer wife's post.

Good one on the skidoo.

Reminds me of my dad's buddy who, after the bank fugged with him, rented a safety deposit box and installed a dead fish. They couldn't get the box open and the debacle went on for months!

I would advise against super glue in the locks (vandalism = jail time) but hit em where it hurts!
