Worst dealer award

JFKSmith sent me a casual and polite PM today asking me what I meant by the tone of his posts in general, so I went back and did a search in the last month of some of his posts with the intention of pasting a few of them into my reply to show him what I meant.

I had it in my mind that he tended to go into attack mode a bit too easily and I thought that might help to explain the reported reaction of the dealer. However, in reviewing quite a few of his previous posts I didn't find what I thought I'd seen, so here I sit with egg on my face.

Sometimes it seems that the older I get the more I realize how much I don't know and how often I speak when I should shut up...

Said this on the other post, so I will say it herer also.   John, we all believe you when you nad your wife told us of the dealer problem.  I was not surprised to hear the dealer response.  They most likely talked to the same people who were offensive, so of course they said it was provoked.  Based on their reply nothing that the distric reps would do to fix it.  So best thing is bring your business to a different dealer.  Better yet don't use a dealer for most of your stuff, get it down by a local.  I can hook you up with Dave Owens who is not far from you in Dighton MA.  straight up on 118 from RT6. Dave is one of the prime Hayabusa builder and mechanics in the country. I

f you still need a dealer a few over this way that are very good, but Dave Handles all my needs.  Let me know if you need anything.  Most dealers even if they have a good attitude SUCK when it comes to working on your bike.

Well, I sent them an email, too, but I don't think it would be appropriate to post here.  Stuff like this REALLY gets under my skin....

whoa...I just caught this as I'm in the process of moving. It wasn't that bad...I just told them how I felt about conducting business unprofessionally and I used an example from one of our businesses. I think my last line went something like...
"...From what I understand, your business ethics are founded on the basis of bullsh*t, and that is no way to conduct yourselves just because you may have somewhat of a monopolizing advantage in your industry." (might not be the EXACT wording, but more or less right on.)
If that's the email you're talking about I don't see what was so bad about it. It was written more professionally then anything with the exception of the occassional "BS" thrown in there which is the reason I felt I shouldn't copy it and post it here. If that's not the one, then you're looking the wrong way my friend...check the name/email address on it. Mine is N. Gino Pirelli, asi001@yahoo
