WTF!!!

So I recently moved into a brand new 4 bed room house, from an apartment. I use to have to park the Busa outside (covered parking), but now have a garage. So I give my change of address to State Farm and my rate goes up! Honestly it is a nice community and even has roaming security, but the rate is based on the zip code; I wasn't even asked if the bike was going to be in a garage this time but was asked when I first started the policy. It went from $106 per month to $119 per month!

Yup, zip codes do influence insurance rates for some companies.

USAA rocks, 169 a month for full coverage(300/100/300) on my car, busa and 750.

thats sucks my car went up more then 1200 a year in less then 1 mile

wow that sucks thats why i get higher cost for everything so i dont pay as much or if i dont have to have full coverage i wont get it. every accident i have been in hasnt been my fault so someone elses paid to fix my vehicle and the one accident i did have which i was in a pile up on highway 70 going west. i just bought what was broke and fixed it myself. which was grill, front bumper, outter and inner quarter panels and a headlight.
Remember the you can find anything CHEAP on the internet....lol.....

Mine is almost $3K/year for full coverage. I opted for liability at 300/year. I can replace alot of parts by saving 2700 every year.

see thats what i am talkin about I am with Sambusa... the way insurance is and if you never get in an accident, i think you get screwed but if you do fix it your self!!

I've had a couple accidents. Replaced all the fairings for $800. Sold the rashed ones for 750

Right. A buddy of mine who bought an R6 was quoted something like 8 grand a year for full coverage insurance. They gave him liability only at about $900 a year. yeah, he can fix a lot of broken stuff for the $7100 in savings.

That's crazy #'s. How old are you guys? I'm 26 and my full coverage is 360/year with S.F.

It must be location because I'm 30 with no tickets(that they are aware of

) or accidents. I have full with uninsured motorist protection, I thought this was a good idea after someone hit my last bike and had no insurance. I wasn't on it thankfully but I could have been.

Hate to say it, but $13 is not that much especially you moved into a 4-bedroom house. I know sometimes every Benjamin counts, but don't fret over that.

You are very right, I just thought since the Busa would be in a garage as oppose to out in the open it would work in my favor. The pros of this situation greatly outweigh the cons, I feel better; Thanks!

Insurance cost quotes here are useless without coverage limits...some of these prices are min coverage amounts and im sure some are much higher.
