ZZR kicking Busa butt!

I'm looking into maybe buying a second bike. So I've been researching a few models. I recently found a few posts on the ZZR vs Hayabusa. I couldn't believe the amount of ZZR owners that say they have spanked Busa's. Most of 'em saying they are beating them up to 140 MPH, then the Busa goes ahead. I have NEVER read this in any magazines. Are they bullshitting, or are there a bunch of lamer Busa riders ruining our good reputation?

The ZZR is a cruiser made to look like a sportbike. I mean they even have gloveboxes in the fairings and a single seat for driver and passenger. No they cannot even come close to beating a busa. whoever told you that has no idea what they are talking about. most new liter bikes can hang with a busa until about 150-160 but those are purely sportbikes and not a cruiser/sport. ZZrs are for people that can't afford the Busa or 12r and can't handle the power

Yeah that is bullsh!t. There is a guy around here that drag races one with an extended swingarm and its slow as fock. The only way a ZZR will out run a busa (even with a bad rider) is if the busa owner isn't racing.


Oh yeah where did you find this "information" I think I have may have to go there and call out some of these ZZR owners for a race.

With a good rider they can hang! But, in the end 99.99% of the time the Busa will pull ahead....

As far as the video goes, it looks like maybe the rider of the Busa just wasn't all that good at launching.

as for guys from other boards saying they spanked a Busa. A lot of times people will brag that they came up on a freeway, saw a Busa and just nailed it and blew the Busa away.

And from the Busa drivers perception, he never even saw the other bike, or could care less and never really raced the guy.

It is easy to BLOW a Busa and its rider away when you come up from behind maxing the RMP's out, blow by the Busa and the rider is too bored to even bother with you.

In all honesty, I kinda like the looks of the ZZR. They have been selling pretty good here locally. I've noticed that most people that ride them are a little on the heavy side though. I think what I like the most is the rear lights. They look hottt! I wish Suzuki would do some kind of integration to make the brake light and rear signal composite into one fairing.

I believe that the new 1k has it all as one piece, fronts are in the mirrows and rears are in the tail section, no more sticking out
