anyone here ride a Rocket III?

Let's not forget they are not given these things away...Price for the roadster
was TBD but the R3 Touring was $16,999. That IMHO, is a lot of money for
a triumph and opens the door to a lot of other options depending on what your
looking for.

If I'm going biger powerful cruiser, personally I'd go Star with the Raider or
Roadliner or the new Vulcan line from Kawi.

If power is not an issue (which if your looking at the R3, I bet it is) you could
go with a Hardley:rofl:

Not to hijack the thread, but I have been thinking of selling my cbr 1k and getting another cruser bike. I looked at the r3, but to pricey for my poor self. Does anybody like the m109r? is it comfy?

I love the M109R...great bike best V-twin motor period, and I've ridden them all.
(Close 2nd is the big Star motor.)
That thing wants to run and be turned loose.
Styling is not quite for me but the motor and bike itself is top notch.
Not a huge fan of forward footpegs (like floorboards in my cruisers) but
the reach isn't to bad and I'm not that tall.

I hit one of those everytime I go to bikeweek/biketoberfest.

Couple of places I am looking at are asking 13,900$ OTT for the R3T - for a 2009 model. A a comparison, the Honda dealer here is selling new 1800 VTX cruisers for $7,500 or so - but that's for 2007 models. The more I think about it, the less I see an R3 in my future. - in spite of its performance.

If you like this bike, why don't you just get a Boss Hoss?

If I won the Lottery, I would.....but they start @ $42,000 for a small block! I couldn't imagine buying a tiny little small block when you could have 500 cubic inches. (did I just say that?)

The Boss Hoss is no longer made with a Big Block, the EPA has determined that it must be smogged by auto specs, so they killed it off. The small block is still made...........
