Take a look at reviews for the Dunlop Roadsmart. You can google up a ton of stuff on them (or any other tire for that matter).

+1 on the roadsmart.I put quialifer's on and went through a few and then put the roadsmart on the rear and left the quilafier on the front and like the combo.I do alot of highway to and from work.

Most any sport touring tire will fill your bill. Only thing I'd suggest, is to avoid Bridgestone BT-021s. Bridgestone makes great tires, but the 021s were a definite sour note.

I do lots highway riding and I do push her hard at times. Recently I got BT016 front and rear (upgrade from BT056). Very nice tire. Front 2CT, rear 3CT. Friend of mine did almost 9K km on it (highway mostly, no pushing). I did 3K km on mine and it looks like new. Good thing about it is that those tires stick like glue, as far as Hypertour tire is concern. Just my 2c

That's the one I just bought not too long ago.. supposed to be the equivalent to the Pilot Power 2ct, all I know is that it's a fantastic tire for the money. I'll buy another one in a heartbeat when it's time. :beerchug:

You might want to look at Continentals. I've heard you can get 20K on them, but if you push it at times don't get this tire.

+1 I run the continentals on mine driving back and fourth to work 100 miles a day. I have had a good 8000+ on a set but I do push it allot more than i should they are good tires, stick well, and have a sweet look to them, oh and there pretty cheap!!!

Running the Contientals myself as well. I have the Road Attack on the rear and the Sport Attack on the front. They stick very well and the milage seems to be real good. I have bout 4K on the rear and it still looks good. I haven't tried dragging a knee yet but they stick well enough for me to shrink my chicken strips from about 1/2 inch to 1/8 on an inch the couple of times I have felt brave and confident enough in my skills to push it.

For your style of riding, the sport/touring tire will be the best bang for the buck in my opinion. Avon or Contientals shold fulfill your needs nicely.

Just my :2cents:
