These are my rules, like I said, you want different, start a different thread. I did not say at any point that the bike was considered stock with my mods.

Mad Max, a stock Busa is not going to turn a 147 in the 1/4.
If it ran 147, it had something done to it.

I ran a 9.70 @ 145. Only mods were lowered and 16 tooth front. OEM exhaust.

Hey TJ first race is May 3rd. You interested in coming out? Those bikes are running the times I said and you could talk with the guys who own them. His best time was a 9.28, but he runs 9.4's all day. From what I gather they don't have a problem letting you check their bikes out and swapping tech tips. Anyone else going to be in the area stop on by. Can't promise who will or won't be there, but I do promise you'll have a good time. No matter what kind of times your running if you get a chance come on out. If you plan on racing check out http://www.pmra.net for racing regulations/rules. Must wear boots and leathers, have kill switch etc.....

I ran my stock bike - no mods - in the low 10's. Then I realized I had the parking brake on, took it off, and now I'm running in the 9's.

waterbug whose busa are you refering to from pmra ? I know there was a 100 % bone stock busa that came out last year and went 9.70's , and it was bought that morning lol

I know everyone has a different set-up and different mods, so to compare equallly, this post is only for people that are running stock engines, stock wheelbase, street tire, sprocket combo optional, strapped and lowered.
Exhaust system and PC being the only performance mods...

No air shifters
No NOS
No turbo
No cams
No headwork
Engine completely stock.

My best was a 9.95 @ 144 at 2800' altitude

The only thing I've seen at Heartland was the big boys/girls. Flyinon2wheels, there are several busa's racing PMRA. Most have been modded with the usual stuff. I have a couple of friends who race. Jon Haney, Scott Davis and some others I use to ride with back in the day. This guys don't have Busa's though. They do ride Suzuki's! The times I was talking about were Jon and Bernie. I'm pretty sure of the races I remember they both run consistantly in the 9.40's. With an all time best of 9.28!

AHHHHHHH ok i know exacly who you talking about now . i know scott davis well lol we have to woop on him a bunch j/k hes a good guy we always have a after race get together in the hotel parking lot after the pmra races . I turn wrenches for nick jones , and used to turn wrenches for tommy bolton on dustin beshears pro stock

I weight 210 in my leathers. Stock wheel base.
1.59 sixty foot. BDE exaust lowerd and straped.

The fastest turbo bikes are only running 7.8sec+ and with 75 shot NOS I run a flat 9.0 to 9.24 I know there are guys with just engine rebuilds running in the high 8's but lets be realistic at leastdrag bikes

I agree.
If anyone is running quicker than 9.5's with a stock Busa, I'd have to see it to believe it.
Most stock Busa's I have seen are lucky to get into the 9's at all. (of course that is the rider's fault)
