2 maybe 3 riders down this week... Bash 09

I didn't know Suzuki made watercraft....???

you guys be careful out there.

before ! You couldn't pay me to ride the dragon and now I know for sure. To dangerous the stakes are to high

Once again, these crashes were NOT on the Dragon.

Leo was the pilot of the black Busa, when he realized the bike was going into the ravine he bailed and is OK.

And........absolutely nobody was drinking when riding. This stuff is serious, the things that have happened have been stupid little things, and thank God, nobody has been injured. We had a safety meeting last night.

just gotta ask... Was the gsxr damaged bad? it looks pretty unscathed from the photos, besides the obvious water logged stuff. Glad noone was seriously hurt, other than pride.

Jeez...be careful out there folks....and please, some one explain the GSXR in the river story in greater detail.

whent to see the water logged gsxr 750 last night, its up and runing again..they pulled 3-4 gal of water from the engine and change doil 4 times he said among a few other places water can get into...the bike was submerged for over an hour and now runs perfectly...the electronics even survived ecxept for the battery....suzuki makes great stuff what is supposed to be water resistant ended up being water proof..and we have all the right .org people down here to fix things...the bike that whent over the cliff and landid on its nose, only lost the front nose cowl and a main stay, i believe a pin on the dash broke as well, tiny dent in tank and small tear in the seat cover is all....my bike now has a mismatched orang front turn signal but otherwise looks no worse then before...I now am the proud ownder of 3-4 #s of NC dirt and stone....my bike and the gen 2 where not even crashes but where tip overs, so everyone thanks for telling usx to look out, but these didnt happen due to driver error...
:thumbsup::beerchug:

Thank God you guys are alive and nobody was hurt,

I couldn't believe the pics fishing for a GSXR, wow thats crazy.

Wow, crashing sucks.

Glad to hear that pride was the only rider injuries.

The picture of the Gixxer laying in the creek was pretty wild.

Stay safe y'all.

I have a very sore shoulderblade, but other than that Im ok. I was coming in pretty fast on this corner and I just didnt feel like my tires were warm enough to lay it over. So I basically ran it off into the grass. Of course when you hit the brakes in the grass, you are going down!

It all happened so fast, that when I got up, I was looking for my bike and it was no longer in the grass, but rather in the river!!
I have to give props to silver surfer and racer v for kindly going in the river to fetch it out. And the rest of the crew who showed up to help. The bike was totally submerged in 5 ft. of water.
I have to give big big props to gixxer hp and the rest of the guys who helped to get it running again. I had like 6 people who gladly made it a priority with their time to get it running and patch her up. I just couldnt believe that I had great people just dying to get it up and running again.
It was totally amazing!!

I always say I believe in karma. I helped wrench all week and the good karma of that came to help me to.
The people of the org just fricken rock is all I can say. This has just been a great week. I did bring my Busa too but kinda sore to ride so yamahore (Ben) is out on her right now...

Just glad you're ok Brendan..

Wish I was there with you guys!

Glad everything worked out as well as it did. Did you go to the hospital to get checked out. Sore shoulder could be broken collerbone.
