) Elias doesn't think it was his fault, turn 1 crash in Shanghai;

Nicky was hit hard enough to dent his swingingarm and rip his rear fender. He then had a lonely and frustrated ride for just four points. When he was informed that Elias was saying he braked too early, Nicky came very close to forgetting his good manners but restrained himself from commenting. I told him what Barros had said: 'Toni come very crazy,' which sums it up nicely.

What do you guys think??

I know I'm a Nicky fan, but Nicky was going the same speed as everyone else and Elias was going much faster than everyone else.

Here's a link where Superbikeplanet's reporter was interviewing Hayden. In the interview, Hayden was informed, by the reporters, that Elias had said Nicky braked too early.

Here's another link where Elias is quoted as saying,

Unfortunately on the first lap I was behind Hayden when he was closing his line towards the kerb and I had no choice but to collide with his rear wheel and crash.[/Quote]

No mention that he made a mistake or that he was sorry he took 3 other guys out of the race.

Read a news article @ motogp.com where Elias said that Nicky turned in for the corner and he had no where to go and he hit him.

No where have I seen Elias blame the crash on somebody else...those things happen in racing

(Charlesbusa @ May 10 2007,12:08) ...defend your little Elias...
Not defending anybody...just questioning poor reporting and posting quotes out of context

We all know Nicky is having a BAD year so far...he's not whining and crying about it.

Reporters told Nicky he was, you saying the reporters lied...

Didn't Elias do the same thing to Rossi....

Look at Nakano and Tamada's crash. Tamada apoligized to Nakano right away. Elias hasn't said sorry to anyone...

Because I didn't want to quote an "essay", just trying to quote the meat of it.

I DID give you the link so you could see the whole interview.

This is first you have mentioned poor reporting...

Posting quotes out of context
rock.gif
I gave you the link to see the context... You trying to say that I'm hiding the context to make it appear worse for Elias

You just quoted my post and removed the emoticons from my post. That's quoting out of context
