Biggest reason Stoner didn't qualify well was because his #1 bike broke with 18mins left in QP. He had to run back to the pits, a ways, then Qualify on his #2 bike.
The following teams didn't get turned in on time. The riders were randomly selected last night prior to QP.

Rossi thinks Stoner is the favorite for the Shanghai race.

This aught to be a great race to watch. Rossi fastest in the twisties. Stoner fastest in the striaghts. And Hopkins fastest all around....

Well if practice times are any indication of the future race results, the top 3 will be Stoner, Hopkins and DePuniet. Hayden, Pedrosa, Melandri, Rossi plus a couple more all have good race pace, but not as good as the top 3.

I know I'm a Nicky fan, but Nicky was going the same speed as everyone else and Elias was going much faster than everyone else.
