I didn't meet my first 2 week goal of 6lbs :down:

Looks like I'll be meeting with food less and the treadmill more.

Sorry Jules.. I know you will be able to meet and exceed your desired goals. It is always that first obstacle that one must overcome. I have faith in you. I have been on mine once since I got it.. Been sick since then. :(
 
been slacking this week. Mario Cart has become my "Crack".


I hit my BMI goal started at 33.74 ....current 33.68
I only lost 1.1 lbs. out of a goal of 2 lbs.

My new goal for the next 2 weeks is 3 lbs.

Hey, Jules, you didn't meet your goal of 6lbs gone in 2 weeks, but did you loose weight over all? If you did, then it is all good. Don't sabotage yourself with big goals. Try smaller ones. Like maybe 2lbs in 2 weeks or a certain amount of time overall on the Wii. My goal is usually 4 lbs in 2 weeks (I don't always make that one :( ) And I have added a new goal of actually being able to run the entire 10 min of the free run. I think I ran 2 min and the rest of the time I just pumped my arms up and down (which that was a good workout too ;) ) Keep at it Jules. You can't reach your goals if you give up. (not saying you are, just an observation of myself that has finally hit home for me.)

I got 30 min in last night. Shooting for a total of 1 hr today on the Wii.
I ate stuff yesterday that I shouldn't have. I think I was just nervous about Dennis traveling. Be glad when he calls and says he is all settled in his hotel room. Today is a new day. Started it off with my oatmeal and a cup of Sumatra Coffee and a banana!!! :)

Keep up the good work people and lay off the mario carts, at least until I get a copy!!! :laugh:
 
I did just a tad over 40 minutes yesterday. I opened the "island view" on the bike game. I saw places I've never seen before.

Celebrated Randy's sisters birthday last night, I sorta kinda ate some cake :laugh: OMG it was soooooo good.
 
I havent been on the Wii since tuesday and I ate like a pig yesterday. Good news...i'm down to 8 cigs a day from 20. Going to chop wood today and kick start my routine again.
 
Wow!!!! Ace, that is awesome news on the cig front!!!!! Hey, chopping wood is GREAT exercise!!!!! :) Keep up the good work! :cheerleader:
 
Jules your doing great, you have lost weight. I know you wanted to hit you goal, you where just a little off. Keep trying and you'll get it next time.

I just need to lock myself in my room and stay away from food... like thai food and inidan food and mexican food... just give me a cupful of kibble like we do the dogs.

My favorites too. Eat lots of veggies and fruits and lean meats and once a week allow yourself to have a cheat meal. You are doing great with loosing the weight and maintaining a good activity level. You can do it!!!!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup:
 
I've missed 2 days since the beginning of the year. Not much has changed with my weight, I'm maintaining.
 
I'm down about 5 lbs... gotta turn the heat up a little.. more treadmill..less couch and less food...

keep it up yall
 
5 lbs in 2 weeks is AWESOME Jules!!!!!! Keep up the good work. Remember you didn't put it all on over night (although I am sure sometimes it felt like it ;) ) so it will just take time for it to come off. :)
 
Well, finally some progress....6 lbs down this week. After the ups and downs of the first two weeks I was beginning to wonder if there wasn't something wrong with me.

It works like that sometimes. I am bouncing around the same 4 pounds the last week. I know the body is going to let it go if I stick to my plan in the next week or two!
