Been waiting for some news on the expected 2020 unveiling of Gen 3's. Fresh rumours of a new Suzuki Hayabusa for 2021!
Not sure how true that is but it would be a shame if the gen3 would just be an emissions update and not all the other things everyone hoped for like the bigger motor, etc.
No,I have never been a hayabusa owner.I sold my triumph bonneville last year.I always wanted to own a hayabusa and now that i am planning for a new bike so thought will wait for sometime for the 3rd gen busa.....oh and welcome by the way...I take it you are not a current Hayabusa owner?
What are you riding now?
Don't hold your breath. Every year it's the same crap about a new bike coming out. Don't waste your money on a new one. Buy a 12-15' clean Busa. It's the same bike as a 21 and much cheaperNo,I have never been a hayabusa owner.I sold my triumph bonneville last year.I always wanted to own a hayabusa and now that i am planning for a new bike so thought will wait for sometime for the 3rd gen busa.
I guess this waiting period for the new hayabusa will never gonna end. Will wait for few more months and if SUZUKI doesn't announce anything 'officially" then will buy a clean used hayabusa.Don't hold your breath. Definitely nothing from an official Suzuki source that's for sure...Apparently on the "EICMA" - biggest motorcycle Expo in November!
Both the Concours and the ZX14 are current 2021 models. Suzuki has pulled the plug on the Busa in other markets than USA all ready for this year. They are not even showing a 2021 Katana, if you want to call it a Katana, no where near what the Iconic Katana was.If Suzuki would have followed Kawasaki and turned the Hayabusa into a Suzuki version of the Concours, it would have been a huge hit I figure as Suzuki doesn't have a brand in that fire.
I know with the demise of the ZX14R, the Concours will follow suit...I guess Kawasaki is pretty confident in their H2 platform to carry the load with the H2 SX SE...
....a false pregnancy?I think Suzuki is suffering from pseudocyesis. LOL
I guess we can just ignore noise and get you to quote a conversationNoise I'm hearing through Suzuki New Zealand is eventually ( march ) press release
Yeah I guess you can, but my dealings with Suzuki which go back to the late 70's , have taught me much, Suzuki have always kept new developments close to their chests, but have always delivered, you can always call Suzuki nz liars if you choose, the gen3 will eventually be released. Suzuki Japan have patiented the 1440cc engine and that is fact, you can Google it up. So if Suzuki are spending money and time on an engine for a bike that's not coming, then what for, a simple photo from them maybe might appease the faithful, but Suzuki have never done that. When Suzuki have asked me what colour model I want, are they just yanking your chain or do they know something we dont.I guess we can just ignore noise and get you to quote a conversation
....they list the Hayabusa as "Ultimate Sport"........I like that...MOTORCYCLE | Global Suzuki

I dare say that motorcycle expo’s could be a thing of the past as several manufacturers are going down the same path of virtual shows in your own home.
