GEN3 most promising yet

I've been hearing rumors about the automatic transmission and lighter weight for over 3 years now. You can get a bike to shift up automatically pretty easy already and I bet the setup weighs under two pounds, maybe three if you have an air shifter instead of electric.
The RadiusX auto clutch made by Rekluse with soon be available for Busa.
Will that work for yer lazy A$$

Automatic Busa...stop it,yer killin' me.

How 'bout a heated seat,built-in Bluetooth voice recognition ECU overides and on the fly suspension settings....maybe pay per view movies on the windscreen and an' expresso maker in the hump....just messin' bro... :poke:

@rubbersidedown this aint for commuting about town. It's for shifting at the optimum rpm as fast as possible and never missing a shift. I know a guy who built many o' turbo ZX-14s with insane booost on stock engines. He made everything as automatic as possible because he didn't trust himself as much as the electronics.

I know bruvah...I was just pokin' at ya. I so want an' air-shifter. My Busa already carries an' on-board air compressor for the suspension,so I figure I could have air stored in a bottle for on demand usage. Re-fill with the touch of a button. How's that for innovative thinkun...
I could be the first kid on my block to have it...:firing:

You might as well if you have the compressor. The shifter doesn't take much air. I saw one guy's setup where he had one of those long skinny nitrous bottles he used for his shifter and he said it lasted a long time before he had to refill it. I think I even remember someone saying they used nitrous for the engine and also used the same nitrous for their shifter. It can't require much air if he was using nitrous. Sounds like it might be a little dangerous though.

I agree. I wouldn't use NOS,but a blue bottle might look cool as a storage vessel. People in the know would look down see my bike is turbo'd then wonder what kind of a crazy person would ride a boosted Busa, then add nitrous.
I'm not much for faux things...but I'm sure it would get some comments.
I'm such an' attention ho,I might just have to do it. :p

Hi Rubb. I just got some time off from all the crap that is going down in my life. I will have an air pump for the shifter and the air clutch. I will also have NOS to help spool the turbo and also to use in the DEI fuel cooler. I have an electric water pump for the motor and water to air intercooler.

How's that work? How do you do it? Advantages?
Please n' thanks,

Hi It kind of works like anti lag for turbos. You it as the turbo is on low boost as the motor starts to build RPM. It helps the motor spin faster at the start. I am also looking into anti lag for use on the street. That is if I run the long LSR gears on the street. You know you have to spin up the turbo quick to make boost. The big Garrett 42-1200c on my bike will be making about 5 to 7 lbs of boost at 6000 RPM.

I have never noticed huge lag. My Garret starts to make boost at 4-5 (according to Richard at RCC who built the motor/installed and tuned the turbo) and runs 10 pounds at the top. I will have to research this NOS deal. Zero available funds will keep me from any mods for the forseable future unfortunately. :( Thanks Michael, food for thought.

Hi Rubb. I do not know what turbo is on your bike. smaller build boost faster. I just gan not leave anything alone. I have wild Ideas so I run them by people that know what they are doing, not like me. I am talking to Jay at Full Race They do car turbos. As you may know I am having DME build me a Inconel header 4 lbs lighter ,better for high heat too. But not cheep at $3800.00. So I am looking to see if Full Race can get the Garrett made with an Inconel I will call it the hot side of the turbo. I am trying to see if RCC [ or some one Boosted maybe] will help me build a kit for my plan. Or I may just go with the RCC 1000 HP kit that they make. Putting all of this special stuff to gather may be just to much $ and work to have all the shops work together. And it may extent the build past the planed time. The first plan was for the RCC Super Ultra kit and 200 MPH. Now I think I have gone nuts. Well I will have to get back as soon as I can after the health stuff and girlfriend stuff and tis virus crap that is making ever thing hard.

ya,tuff time right now my friend. I have the Garret 35. The RCC 1000HP should be good enough for your needs right. You goal was 800 horse wasn't it. Health/GF/Covid...its coming at you from all side eh Bro.

Hi I know It is probably more HP than I can put to the ground. Eric at DAS ran 266 MPH his rear wheel speed was 310 MPH. I just can not leave any HP on the table. Here is one think heat in the turbo that goes to the cold side from the hot side that will heat the air going into the intake hot air less power right, So we separate the 2 half of the turbo hot on one side of the motor and cold on the other. It would be like a long center shaft. Wild idea? I plan to run 2 wastegates, if I can not do that I will run a Tial 60 wastegate.
