2024 Best selling bikes

Kinda shows the future, most were 700cc or smaller. But-with todays tech, those smaller cc bikes are power equivalent to the old bigger cc bikes. And they’re way lighter, more fun to ride.

“I” wouldn’t buy any of those on the list besides maybe the Ktm 390-but im not the young new bike buyer demographic, I fall under slightly retarded gear head demographic, we have 600lb 190mph rockets for no realistic reason lol

Also an interesting video....

I'm kind of suprised to see the Goldwing in there, but, given the price, I understand.
I think that most of us old enough to be interested in something like that, really don't want to spend that much on any motorcycle, regardless of what's in our bank account.
Me, living my late teens to my early 30's (I'm 47) where $10k bought you basically any sportbike that you wanted, makes it hard to spend 3 times that now on the bike alone...especially when alot of us are going to spend a few grand more on mods.
And when depreciation can buy a like new, low miles anything, for thousands less, and those thousands easily cover mod money.
I've bought a few new bikes in my life, and get the appeal, but anymore, I'de rather buy used and make it exactly what I want, and save Alot money...for another used bike, lol.
And, we all know the state of the world these days, sadly most people, especially kids and young people, can't get their face out of their phones long enough to do much of anything else, let alone ride or even want to ride a motorcycle.

....not to mention aging.....lots of perspective buyers of Gold Wings and other large, heavy bikes are the older crowd and we either already have them and are happy with what we have or aren't buying new ones....

....as the current crowd of motorcyclists dwindle due to either no interest or economic strife, who's going to be buying big, expensive bikes?

I can see bikes like the Hayabusa disappearing after the 3rd Generation......and liter bikes are right behind it....already there is a trend for companies to go towards 800cc bikes as their flagship models....

Much like cars, I've think we're witnessing the end of the motorcycle golden years.....

Yeah, I agree, sad but all true.
