I got some free time this weekend so 00BusaTX and I along with a local who restores bikes got a little work done on my project. This bike is 98% original so finding parts takes a while.

Here's what we put on this weekend:
Exhaust and muffler
coil and plug wire
6v Battery
voltage regulator
wiring for rear tail light, horn and fender terminals installed
Handle bars (fresh from the chrom shop) and levers
Speedometer cable
Ignition (fresh from the chrome shop)
gas cap (this is a loaner until my NOS one gets here)
Teleglide cover
Headlight bucket

What's left:
Throttle and clutch cables (on order)
Terminal connector (on order)
Speedometer gear and grease fitting
Coil bracket (the one on now is a reproduction)
Grip retainers (on order)
Throttle Spiral
Connector for the tail light
Peg for the shifter

...and now for the pictures.

It's been a real learning experience and Not a lot of people are familiar with this bike. I got into a "discussion" with a HD owner who didn't believe HD made anything other than the big bikes.

oh man, ....that looks sweet Dan.
I can guaranty you could win many trophies with that in a show:thumbsup:

Thanks but I built her to ride. I wanna see how it handle the dragon or three sisters. Top end will be 50-ish.

It might not turn as many heads as the busa, but it will be fun.

We need to put a ride together sometime.

Looking good Bro'. Now what about the bike that was the subject of the last Text??? Did you pull the trigger or not?

Nope, didn't pull the trigger. It wasn't that comfortable and they only had yellow. You should have seen HRH in the store.
